I'm super stuck with both Claire and V.

With Claire (I'm at 40L, 60A) I get the bath scene every night, and the bedroom scene where I can confess, but I never get the email.

With V (20L 30A 65D), I pick her up from the club and she jerks me off, but Amy's (10L) dialogue never changes.

Any advice?

Also, what happened to Faerin's walkthrough? The spreadsheet looking one? I don't see it on the first page any more? Carlos's guide is great but right now I'm finding it too vague to be helpful.

This point might be a good starting point for the following question:
Should you be able to disable the new hint system in the settings?

Or is it one of those "if it's there, I'm gonna use it regardless" things?
And if so, should we say, award something extra for that...achievement or something?
Or does that defeats the purpose of it, since players will still use the walkthrough then to get the achievement.
Maybe we can leave out the walkthrough alltogether?

Sigh...one simple feature...so many questions...

LOL. Also keep in mind that the hint system isn't going to be used by all people. Both those who want to play with complexity, and others who don't even bother to click on the phone. Here there are a lot of questions that want to know how to cheat and even how to save.
And everyone is going to want to see any extra you add, with or without hint system, having earned it or not.

However, I think the hint system is an improvement to the game, what I don't know if it's very laborious to implement it and if it's worth the work.

You thinking too much. Just keep the good work and people will be happy ( you can't make the whole world to like it anyway). Im just saying that you should like your game more then us. Thats the main point.

@Ente Supremo did come across as a bit offensive, but I honestly believe he was trying not to be. I was curious about this as well, so thank you for explaining! Perhaps @Zippity could reword his future reviews slightly, to add something like "I was asked for a collection of my reviews" or "if you trust my reviews" near where he links to the thread, rather than simply mentioning its existence.

Add shortcut keys as follow,,

(H) - For Hide interface, the eye icon.
(Q) - For the Quick travel window view.
(W) - For Wait, Jump time with 60 minutes and (E) for 30 minutes.
(A) - For Achievements & ESC for game menu.

I would add F5 and F8 for save and load, and possibly spacebar for wait 60 (I think that was suggested before).

I'm from "the era" of old text adventures where you had to try EVERYTHING to progress

I have that mentality too, but it doesn't really work with these games where you have to try the correct thing for the correct number of times before trying the next correct thing. That makes it more difficult to detect state changes and identify when you can progress a storyline again. With this game I typically cheat stats to avoid that problem (and the slowdown effect when you pass some points), but new players obviously won't.

For Claire, just sleep naked with the door open and pretend to sleep to get the fourth special event. You can't do any more with Amy until Claire has been progressed a bit. Part of Claire's path will require you to do something with Amy later on. After that you can get more points for her at the club.

I tried to modify my savegame and "fix" the arousal for Claire by raising max arousal and actual arousal to 80, but that hardly seems the way I want to go.... So now I have 100% score with arousal at 80/75 for Claire...

I know I don't always answer every question or comment, but I do read them and really appreciate all the support this project has been getting. I'm really excited for 2018 as to me it feels, the game is only just getting past its intro stage and the real fun is still to begin!

Not you at all, it's a sloppy bug on my end.
The max value should be 80, but is indeed at 75.

This will be fixed in the next update, but for now @koteto posted a nice workaround

How can i decrease number of stars, couse i have 7 with mom and i should have 6. I'm stuck because of that, can't trigger the shared bath scene.

I'm not sure how that one differs from the one I had already, but what exactly is supposed to happen when I start a new game? Should all of the dialogs just show up right away after choosing MC name? Because in that case, it still doesn't work.


It looks just about the same (haven't checked it to the letter, though). But I didn't have a mapping.xml file before copying one from the mapping.rar file. Is that significant in any way? I'm running the 0.6.5 (extra) version, btw.

normally, when downloading from here you should have a mapping.xml. but to be honest, it shouldn't matter at all. so it's still not running the way it should for you? then i want to see a screenshot of you folder (where you put the xml in it) and also post your xml here, just in case ^^.

Actually, I agree with part of what you've said, but not all of it.
I have been developing games/user experiences many years (not this genre, mind you) with many different project teams.
In my opinion, the "problem" is that we are dealing with humans and, more importantly, opinions.
Each player/user has a different level of abilities, preferences, etc.
What one may find incredible hard, others might find incredibly easy.
In my years of development, it never ceazes to amaze me how...unexpected (for a PC term ) some users can (inter)act, even though it is perfectly clear what to do (but that is, again, an opinion...and that's where it goes south)

So in the end, the challenge for any developer is finding the right, or more likely, an acceptable, balance between difficulty and fun.
I personally don't agree that a game like DotT (still one of my all-time favorites) wouldn't work as a porn game, in fact I would definitely play it.
However, from a developers (or more honestly, an "entrepeneur's") point of view, I agree that this would probably will not be as successful.

Then again, that's just my opinion

Open your phone, use the cheat menu.

No i only can edit love or arousal by cheat menu. I mean stars from events, i never completed 7th star event and game blocks every mom content above first bath scene. I probably need edit a save, but i have no idea where i can find that place with events.

Open the save file with Notepad and edit the number there. If you can't find the right section, I can have a look.
