I'm surprised at that actually didn't think the hotel one would be so far ahead as there is already a few of those on here.
Yeah, pretty common plot, but it was the only one that mentioned incest in the description, and people have little imagination.

Already tried all that, unless i use a different download source, i always pick mega but then i probably wouldn't be the only person with this issue.
im using mine on windows 7 as well and i have no issues
i already finished this this version
i suggest you get a fresh copy again
dont install the patch or anything else
try that first then install the patch and so on
by that i mean open it and play without the saves or anything

Ok, let's take this to PM and see if we can't figure out what's going on. I use Windows 7 Ultimate (x64) and never experienced what you're seeing.

I'm not having an issue running this on Windows 7 (x64) either. I used the updater to bump my 0.96 to 0.97. But maybe you should try every available method and link. It's bound to work in some way, shape or form.
Hey, I played that game a while ago and I remember being able to change the love/arousal/whatever values of girls in the cheat interface. I find no such feature any more, was it removed ? Am I just blind ?

The reason for removing the girls cheat stat was because it was more trouble than it was worth as people would get access to the cheat menu Max the girls and then wonder why certain scenes where not triggering and then asking here I cant get this or that to work the games broken or bugged.
At this moment in time the only way to increase the girls stats is to play the game a good majority of the grind has been taken out so its a lot easier to increase the girls stats.
Now a friendly warning if you use Cheat Engine you will break the game, if you manually edit your save you will break the game, the flag menu is there so if there is a bug we can fix the game on the go if you like and will not increase the girls stats and if you play in there you will break the game.
There is no way round it other than to play the game or just bypass the first day go into Cheat Menu and click Unlock all Memories and you have all the content.

Well, not really helping but that explains a lot.
It's sad, I love the game content, was a patron on and off, but it was because I could tweak these values without having to grind, not sure I'll have the faith to go all the way now. And I don't like using other people saves, weird mental process make it so I don't enjoy it that much after ^^

What I would say in addition to the above answer is that the grind has been reduced massively. If you havent played for a while other characters have been added and you can play their storylines along with the three main characters, so you become a bit more immersed in the game.
Since the revamp there is now a hint system which is like a built in walkthrough as well and the main characters storylines have been separated as much as they can be so you can pursue just one of the girls if you want, all in all it's probably a completely different game to the one you played, and I mean for the better
I don't care either way about incest in these games, but all three of those games could have included incest if they wanted, but the hotel one was the only one to mention it, so of course it won by a mile. Incest will win almost every poll on this site, which is why you can't let polls dictate too much if you have a story you want t tell and include a cast of regular sex partners that extend outside of the family.

You might get away with a poll like this if you didn't give too much detail so no one knew whether certain things they wanted would or would not be included. Just keep it hush-hush so the poll is a bit more unbiased. But, ya know, whatevs.
