As the Dev noted in the changelog, that's only a beginning of a new event chain, nothing more is available yet, since the Dev was working on a much larger chain for this update.

Right, but I was wondering about the gal in the coffee shop since, at first, it listed her as "???" and then later, after the police station, it listed her as "Clerk".

I did as you told but the animation screen is still black. I have installed the webdm thing, have updated my windows 10, i also updated my amd radeon stuff. Is there anything else that I could do? Thank you.

Sadly, no. I've gotten a lot of positive feedback from Windows 10 users saying that they had an outdated version of DirectX installed and installing the version I linked fixed the animation issues they were having.

I don't use webm codecs, though I'm also on Windows 7 Ultimate (x64).

I don't know if this will help you, but I'll give you a list of what I have installed (which isn't much)..

I use: DirectX 9.0, TheCodecs v5.0 (by theorica), Microsoft Silverlight v5.1.50907.0., DivX v2.6.3.88, Unity Web Player v5.3.8f2 and Adobe Flash Player 30.0.0.113.

I've not encountered any problems with animations regardless of the game's version or update.

TheCodecs is probably going to be the hardest to find since it's not longer being supported by the developers. But I have a copy if you want to give it a try.

If you install The-Codecs, you don't need to worry about running "Silent.bat". Just running the executable will be sufficient enough.

This is a list of what TheCodecs supports:

Divx (6) Free: 6.0.0.1571, DivX MPEG-4 Video (Fast&Low): 4.1.0.3920, XviD Koepi's build: 1.1.0 Beta 2, the ffdshow filter, Intel I.263 Video Driver: 2.55.1.14, AC3Filter (Audio): 1.0.1.0, MPEG Layer-3 Audio Codec: 1.2.0.63, InterVideo Audio Decoder: 1.0.0.1, Moonlight Odio Dekoda: 1.2.3.0, Ogg Vorbis Filter: 0.9.9.5, MM Stream Switcher: 0.9.9.0 and Huffyuv lossless video codec: 2.2.0.1.

BTW, I also use an ATI Radeon R7 250 series.

Try downloading it again maybe your download file was corrupted during download sometimes this happen or use WinRaR for extraction or move it to different location disable antivirus or go to AMD Radeon settings and under 'display' change scaling mode from 'preserve aspect ratio' to 'full panel'

Nothing works the driver updates DirectX Updates. Tried everything which is written on internet. Even changed the compatibility. Seems like needs to leave game becaause You cant open it. Sad

Try downloading it again maybe your download file was corrupted during download sometimes this happen or use WinRaR for extraction or move it to different location disable antivirus this is the last thing i can suggest.

Actually, 7-Zip would also work if it's a matter of errors during the extraction process, but for this game since it's a .ZIP file, I used WinZip v8.1 SR-1. Though, if memory serves, won't work on Windows 10 machines (unverified) because it's an old version. I think it's about 18+ years old now.

EDIT: on Discord they say it's a bug, and they say one needs - if he's got extra version - to increase values by cheats.

Just saw your edit.. Yes, you will more than likely have to raise Veronica and Amy's stats using the cheat in order for this to work.

Just so you all know, the new update doesn't seem to reward 5 stat points for Amy and Veronica due to a bug.
So there's no content beyond that new scene, I will fix this in the update!

For now, if you want to get them to 100%, either use the cheat console or manually edit the savegame.

Not sure if anyone posted about this or not, but on the achievements list for Amy mine shows ???, but on the phone it shows arousal 30.

It is just a bug.

but since version 7.7 MOTH is not runing on a virtul maschine.
My computer runs with linux and until having animations in the game, everything went fine.
If there would be a possibility to not show the animations, I could play MOTH.
@Faerin, you did great work, please go on!!!!
But I have to stop playing MOTH until finding a working solution for this graphic-driver problem.
Hopefully there will be a switch to disable animation in a future version.

Ahhhh.. I didn't realize there was a bug. Though I wouldn't have known to look for one if you hadn't mentioned it. It played fine for me, so if there was a bug somewhere, I didn't pick up on it.

As an aside, I thought the motto for coding was, "It's not a bug, it's a feature!"

In any case, I appreciate the heads up and thank you for mentioning it. Also, I wanted to personally thank you for the great game! You definitely got my full support!
