Alas, that's just what comes with NTR games, a lot of MC's don't have backbones; just like with harem MC's being dense, NTR MC's are usually crafted that way for a reason. For one party to dominate, the other must be in some form lesser, otherwise the fall from grace that's a staple of the genre doesn't work. I kind of expect that in some way when it comes to these types of games so that when it happens it happens, and when it doesn't, I'm pleasantly surprised.

Even in this game it's a bit different from the normal NTR genre as you can't just insert yourself into the person doing the cucking because of how its specifically designed to make you sympathize with Ex what with how fleshed out the other NPC's are, so if you don't enjoy NTR, you REALLY won't like this, but it's a paradise of content otherwise.

Oh, one final thing -- in case the translator is still interested: there seems to be a bug (at least in my version) in which the 'After the Aftermath' and the additional material (recollection room, extra episodes, etc.) do not unlock after you complete the Aftermath part. I did it twice (downloading the game from the first post in the thread, i.e., the latest version), and the result was the same. All these parts were only unlocked when I added the full save file I found upthread to the main game folder.

During the scenes with the minister and the viscount is when she loses basically all of her influence since it happens after she marries Ex, because while she was a former knight, she isn't at that moment, meaning any of her actions need to be treated like that of a regular civilian; just because you used to be a police officer doesn't mean you have the same authority as a citizen. She also hasn't gotten into contact with the king yet, so none of their deals have been struck yet. That also applies with her and the king when it comes to serious issues such as felonies, because preferential treatment looks bad on a king.

In terms of the king, I meant that he doesn't really seem corrupt or is willing to exacerbate power for his own gains against anyone forcefully; he will certainly tempt others or offer them his wealth in exchange for favors, but I don't think he'd automatically pardon Sera for committing murder against two influential figures, even if the case was blackmail; after all, what's stopping her from doing that again if the situation arises once more? Should he pardon those murders as well if she does? That's what I think he's more fair about.

Ah, I didn't mean to make it sound like they were poor, just that they chose to live somewhere homely and decently normal rather than a mansion or something in a private neighborhood or whatever; They want to live a normal life. I do also want to point out the fact that in one of the conversations with Ex and Sera, Sera looks in a magazine to find new inventions such as the microwave, vacuum cleaner, and washer/dryer, all of which Ex remarks on being expensive, so they aren't uber rich either. In terms of being an adventurer, I'm sure she'd have to venture pretty far to slay monsters, and as a housewife to Ex, she probably wouldn't want to do that. There is also the very real chance that she somehow gets murdered if she gets caught off-guard, so perhaps she also didn't want to risk that either.

But so does Ex, especially the not knowing part. Do not project. There is such a thing, such as when she debates herself over it being lust or not while trying to make excuses. However there is no such thing in examples I mention, there is nothing hyperbolic about her admitting she succumbed to lust or that did this without MCs consent and never plans on telling him.
Did she think MC would be fine with it? Likely so. Which just makes her doing what she did all the more daunting in a way lol. I never said she does not love nor does not think of FMC. People have this confirmation bias of romantizicing love as if it meant love=can not cheat on someone, when love and lust are different things. Wanting to interpret her as fully faithful because they are a loving couple does not make her not have cheated. She still was un-faithful to what was confided with her signficant other.
Engaging in sexual or romantic relations behind a significant others back is the definition of cheating. There is clear agreements with MC which she broke, there is no debating around that fact.

the first story is basically a setup for MC to become an actual cuckold, there's some nice character development for the king when he awakens into a good king after he sees how strong fmc is but she still prefer to use her body instead of violence and yes, they live a happy life at the end. The game basically has 2 main parts: first part is a standard RPG and the flavor of the fetish leans more towards NTR than NTRS, but Ex acknowledges his powerlessness constantly so he never really loses faith in his love for Sera.
Successive parts (let's consider them as 1 big thing here) are about what happens after the RPG portion and it reads more like a VN, and yes it's full NTRS and in the recollection room you can view some scenes that are blackmail/cheating.
The type of NTRS varies but I don't really wanna spoiler that much because I recommend playing it since it's a legit great game and especially the writing, or better, the cuckold psychology, is very well done.

I think you'll like it anyway, first part is a good ol ntr formula of mc cant do nothing but malding seeing fmc getting fucked and being overall really good at milking cocks while he cant do anything about it, the second part is again kinda weird short vanilla phase and after that it became ntr stuff again.

Its a mix of both netorare and netorase, she definetely does technically cheat in later parts but its basically with the excuse of "hubby would be fine with it since hes into cuckolding now, i'm just not telling him I did this because don't think he's ready for it" (and never ends up telling him).
