Just started playing this recently and I'm curious as to whether or not there's any downside in just losing every single fight... logically, I would think that being shit at your job and a complete liability would be an issue but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I'm loving this game but I'm so lost most of the time. I think all the paths might be too confusing for the dev to make a walkthrough himself ahah. He's getting better at the movies it seems, the quality of the first few ones are a lot worse than some of his latest work.
U are not the 1st & u wont be the last lol. i cant remember if it was this game or another of his someone else thought same thing & argued with some one else over it.
as far as lab quest goes in park midnight casual jean look below black car there should b a light spot to go to lab (light spot not as bright as others)

I think in RPG MV if you hold enter key you can increase the speed of animations (in this case moving the car.). It also can be used for text skipping unless the Dev changed the script.Great game... but if the police car can move faster (instantaneous

I think i still played when it was still 0.3 or something. looks like it changed allot. I remember keeping th cop pure was really hard to acchieve. also the minigame seem to have changed allot the first few versions was really hard to fight several enemies at once.

The game doesn't have just pure & corrupted route. You will not get all scenes in one playthrough. I will just say that winning first fight usually (not always) unlocks better scenes or at least gives you some story choice. For example in Mason route you have to win fights with him to unlock true corruption path.Losing also gives you scenes, but they are less ..hm.. satisfying - at least for me.

I ended up getting to the end last night, and you're right, it's more about the specific events individually, though I was disappointed that nothing seemed to come from letting the Pusher get away. I kind of messed up by not going after Mason, but for everything else I felt like I made the "right" choice since she was getting fucked right and left at one point, ha. I didn't manage to do the dragon meditation quest, so maybe I'll go back and see if that has any kind of payoff and I definitely need to redo the Mason storyline.

For second playthrough it's better to make different choices. If you will kill Jblue you will get scenes with his father Ghellar, if you will take the bribe you will get scenes with Jblue & Burke. Relationship with Michael opens routes with Storm & casino sex. Different approach with Derek also changes possible sex scene in the club. 2 different scenes depending on your choice with Logan etc.

I think you have to accept the bribe from JBlue at the beginning, and then avoid paying rent to Burke
No, that isn`t it for real I think. I refused to pay the rent in 2 complete trys and it did not worked out so far.
