Does he even get approval by Abaddon to make a RenPy version of his own game? I don't think he get his approval to do this - he should speak with the developer of the game and ask him if he is ok with the idea to let him make a RenPy version of his own game - what if Abaddon don't wanna make a RenPy version or decide he may do it later when he is finally finished with the game? If you ask me,Abaddon can decide to judge Doshima or to make him delete the RenPy version he decide to make!
Anna Exciting Affection also was RPGM game and then the developer himself decide to make the second part a RenPy Sandbox game - I think you can see my point here that it depends of the developer himself to decide to make or not a RenPy version or give his approval to someone to make such a version!

I'm not gonna risk helping someone who doesn't first consult and ask the original developer of the game for his approval of making another version of his own game! If the original developer decide to judge the one who make another version of his own game without his approval,he may also decide to judge everyone else who helped him do that! And I don't see anywhere to be posted message from Abaddon saying he let Doshima make a RenPy version of his own game Manila Shaw:Blackmail's Obsession - not to mention that if Doshima did speak with Abaddon it will mean they somehow work together and that way he may also ask Abaddon for helping him with the problem you are talking about here!

I've just played it and OK, this one lands high on my favourite RPGM list.

Strangly, it strongly reminds me of this movie:

and Sandra Bullock could easily play main role of Manila, if there would have been movie adaptation of this game 20 years ago.

It's like playing strange, porny version of this film, mixed up with Kill Bill (martial arts tropes), Children of Man (dystopian setting with low fertility) and X-Files (alien-human hybrids Mulder was looking for are here!). Production qualities maybe aren't high, but it's very engaging and even tedious quest mechanics do make sense masked in form of boring daily paperwork cop routine.

Overall, during my gameplay I was always interested about what new day brings to MC experience - not only sex, but also when it comes to case solving and general city politics. So yes, the vast entertainment potential is here and playing dirty cop may be fun in first run. When it comes to re-playability, it's also very good, as you can think how losing or winning certain fights can change sexual dynamics and calculate when to lose or win to get different outcome. It's not that obvious at first run and although I'm not completionist, I was wondering what would happen, if I sort things differently.

I think the only missed opportunity here is lack of humor. This game should be bursting out with cop jokes / classic cop movie throwbacks, because it's bit too dry in this... department.

And please defund the police, so Manila could finally go on patrols in torn uniforms! ;)

In justice route after subduing Simon and putting him to cryosleep, is that the end? Or is there more?

Fuckkk, i entered by mistake. "Because when I go to the mirror and unequip my equipments and go to sleep the game kicks me out to the title screen, please don't tell me that's the end.

Thank you for your extensive response.
I am unaware if he asked Abaddon or not. Just saw a request of Doshima if someone can trigger this scene in the original game so he can implement it in his renpy version.
I have to admit though I did not give this as much thought as you obv. did. But I see your point in the repercussions it could cause so I will leave it as it is.

nah ya folks already conspiring to make the game renpy only, my opinion holds no weight since i'm not supporting the dev, but i really wouldn't play the game if there's no battle system, renpy or whatever as long as fighting is in, i'm in (no bun intended)

rip! not sure what's the problem, in case ya didn't save the game before interacting with mirror u gotta redo the fights

Dont think so they are working on the last part.. Im following on patreon, and there hasnt been a update for a while only updates on the progress of the work..

Just discovered and recently finished the RenPy version of this game. It was so hot, especially the Ghellar-Manila fcking scenes.

I gotta ask are there anymore new/updated sex scenes of Ghellar-Manila after the hotel part? (since that is where they left off in the RenPy version) I'm not much of a RPGM player, and it sucks that the RenPy version isn't up to date with the orig RPGM version.
