Okay never mind I dug some more in the comments, turns out Incantation and Strength stats are switched
And you can only train strength if you sleep in the Hollow.

Is the game permanently bugged? Started three different saves, but none of them will start "the expanse" after a "small favor".

I've got "complete" for all the main girls; however, what is the spell to get Mia and Tenhen to do something when there is an audience? It's not Flicker, and it's not Mas Nar Gull (or just Mas). Also Lucy is at the school, how do you get back there?

There was a continuation of the main story I had to figure out. The randomly visit everything until there is something new trope is not fun.

That said, I'm at what feels like the final boss fight, but I'm not doing enough damage and she is over-healing herself (>600 of 450 health). What should my stats be before that fight?

Also, it should be a mechanic of a game that no character can heal themselves more than their max HP. That's easy by doing a min(). Example:

new_hp = min(current_hp + heal, max_hp)

That takes the smaller of the two values. So if your healing amount is less than the max, you get that value. Otherwise the amount is clipped to the maximum HP.

but 1st thing that was wondering - the school choice, it doesnt matter, beyond few text change there is nothing, not special scenes, spells or anything, just few text lines, you dont even visit school you choose - was running 4 paths
