The fear increase is random, unlike the devotion gain, is my running theory and when you choose fury it generates fear which is distributed randomly between household members much like the Household values from Purity or Depravity and so on. You see, since the mechanics behind this isn't explained one can never know if it's intended behavior or buggy.

It's definitely the fury though.
It might have to do with willpower. 2 of my npcs are always affected in the same way whenever I use fury, no matter where they are or what they're doing. these 2 npcs have the lowest willpower by a significant margin. No one else is ever affected and they all have at least decent willpower.

Is anyone else having a problem with npc's fear rising for seemingly no reason? 2 of my npc's fear is rising every other day and I can't figure out why. there is no deference between them and the other npc's as far as I can tell. the only thing I can think of is I gave them piercings and other bdsm accessories somewhat close to when I noticed the problem. I have removed all of that and changed everything about their treatment to the same as other npcs, but nothing has changed. Is this a bug?
What's your household demoralization level?

Which NPCs are these? Random ones or scripted/unique NPCs?

Does the prevent assaulting ? Carozza Hall does not appear for my MC even when Control is below 40. I could understand the preventing an assault on Carozza Hall though not investment. Based on the current descriptions, Lawful should prevent investment but not an assault.

GD-studios This is an amazing game.

This one is a problem of mine as well. After I fiddle with my save file with an file editor (changing the lawful trait to other, more useful trait) the invisible Carroza has somehow appeared! Looks like the lawful trait prevents you from even interacting with the family.
In case anyone finds this helpful, I consulted this forum guide to SugarCube and this on deleting variables in SugarCube.
Then after pressing f12, I used:
delete SugarCube.State.active.variables.mctraitlaw

I too was then able to assault Carozza Hall.

Would you be able to post the scene & code for the 2nd & 3rd of Seve's scenes?
It took me about a week of ingame time to get the first scene once I had the love upto 40,
but I've done the 'looking at stars' at least 40-50 times & nothing but normal scene.
I have no idea how to trigger the 3rd one either.
(Do I have to have just her in the group & go to location or can I trigger from home?)

Does anyone know what to do with this?
Sorry to nag, but would anyone mind answering this?
Still having trouble :oops:

What's her anal xp for the stargazing activity?
Thanks for the reply! :)

Whatever it started at I assume
Didn't realise it was a requirement :oops:
Where does it need to be?

And what about the 3rd event?
Someone mentioned it involves the hill in the Prowler quest, but do you have to take here as part of the team when you are required to go for the quest, or do you take her on her own seperately?
(and what are the requirements to start)

does anyone here have the 0.8.3.3. version of the game? can you upload it somewhere?
For patching save files?

I have the 0.8.3h public html. It's an HTML only so you need to download 0.8.3.7, temporarily replace the start_game.html with this html I sent you, patch your save, delete this 0.8.3h html, and then return the original 0.8.3.7 html file back. Save to disk before patching your save file.

Is there a way to arrange your household staff? I'm starting to collect more than a couple of dozen and it'd be wonderful if I could sort by purpose.

No sorting of that sort. You manually moving them to certain pages and renaming those, is about all the organisational help there is.

There's a simpler method that doesn't modify any of your files, just paste this into the console (press F12, click console tab):

SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc.av24.girlid = 102
This changes av24 (Jack Peasant) into av102 (an RNPC), but you can replace that with any other number that is in the Pics or AvRan folders.

For a Lovisa clone (and a full set of renders): SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc.av24.girlid = 1

While this should work with all NPCs, I haven't tested it so I don't know how well it'll work, especially in quests and with Ansel. Quest pictures would be unaffected so they'll show the original male NPC.

To change the name:
SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc.av24.girlname = Jackie
SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc.av24.girlnames = Jackie's

For a list of all variables:
SugarCube.State.active.variables.npc.av24
Then click the arrow and change whatever you want!
Changing the girlid breaks quests and dialogue tied to the NPC as many quests and Dialogue is tied to a character's girlid. So while you method is easy it breaks the game. So not an option in my opinion.

To lighten the sad face: It made me scream at times until I forced myself to behave with the NPC like writing Arabic - right to left. So making the last page my household/fixed characters page and then moving to the left from there. This also helps when adding a bulk of NPC to your household because now they land on a blank first page and get sorted out from there.

True, I've edited my post accordingly. Good luck with your testing!
