finaly new version. took a long time. one of best html games.
Version 0.8.3 (public) has been released!
Someone beat me to it so this is more of a formal post.
0.8.3 is without question MoR's largest update so far - a complete overhaul of almost every part of the game, from the MC's household to how the engine handles NPCs. This update also gives me a good set of tools to continue developing MoR for years to come.
The changelog is enormous, as one might've expected, but I advice all veteran players to eye through it, especially if you're planning on continuing an old save.

There's also a new 0.8.3 guideYou must be registered to see the links(80% done).
I'll be on bug watch for a couple of days now but expect an update regarding 0.8.3.1 by the end of next week. First out is the revamped Party Engine, followed by the Tavern/pleasure house.

Your slaves still need place to live and whoping 33 food per day ( which is up to awesome 600 dollars per day if you are lucky enough to get into negative prosperity)Ok, all well and nice. But now the question is how many build points you get from the workshop? Well , in my run with a foreman of INT 45 (his main characteristic) and 10 slaves of 37 of discipline on average, the workshop have given to me 778 points. At 4+$ per point (knifes and Auto Rifles) that´s an income of 3112$. In 12 days you have recovered your investment and from this point onwards, each of your slaves bring to the table 280$. Each and every day
I can't believe that there are people who don't cheat in this game. It takes too damn long to play this raw.
The real bottleneck in the game is the lack of art. Even if devs write more scenes they would all feel lame without new art.So far besides slavery, the 100 corruption still feel close to a Victorian era puritanistic English town
meh
Not sure if it works with the new version, but its the best way to capture slave in combat.hey, is there any point in using melee weapons in this game? other than saving on ammo I don't see any pros
thanks, is there an explanation somewhere I can read? or stats on it? if not, is it just more likely to incapacitate with melee or is it something specific like specific weapons I need to use?Not sure if it works with the new version, but its the best way to capture slave in combat.
Of the melee weapons the best for the purposes of capture is the whipping cane, which is an otherwise weak weapon, so you can either use another melee weapon to soften them up, or use a range weapon until they are weak and then switch to the whipping cane to finish them.thanks, is there an explanation somewhere I can read? or stats on it? if not, is it just more likely to incapacitate with melee or is it something specific like specific weapons I need to use?
Don't know about an explanation but, I equip everybody with a gun and a whip and when I get their hit points lowered with the gun I switch to the whip.thanks, is there an explanation somewhere I can read? or stats on it? if not, is it just more likely to incapacitate with melee or is it something specific like specific weapons I need to use?
Melee attack damage scales to strength and melee skill, while ranged weapons are fairly static. Perhaps it exceeds ranged weapon damage at extreme levels. Though it also depends on if we can consistently hit every time in melee. At least in 8.2.3 the targeting implant made ranged weapons very reliable with little skill but I never played long enough to find out how accurate high skill melee is.hey, is there any point in using melee weapons in this game? other than saving on ammo I don't see any pros
If you go to the OP, first page of this thread there is a link to the Wikithanks, is there an explanation somewhere I can read? or stats on it? if not, is it just more likely to incapacitate with melee or is it something specific like specific weapons I need to use?
