who's the new slave, is she worth the time to replay the game and try the other side of the quest?

They are honestly both kinda lame, in the stereotypical sense, but more than that, it's the delivery that feel the lamest (to me)... and this one just went turbo, with Mordecai being all "you're too cool dude, and you're such a cool dude I'm gonna make you the cool dude in chief, because just by looking at you I can tell that I can count on you, and also I'll be gone soon for reasons you can't understand" has to be the most obnoxious plot contrivance I've seen in a while, if ever xD.

that's the kind of shit that happen when your creativity get on the backseat, and you take ideas from retards.
I was holding back on doing NWO so I could do SMR at some point so I can't really comment on it, but now that SMR is out, it does feel kind of lame. It's just wish fulfillment with you being the awesomest boy around, instead of staying with the theme the rest of the game has set where the world is harsh and you have to fight for things. Getting in the good graces of the Adlers should be a slower process and they should initially be more distrustful of you and slower to warm up.

Compressed the game for my own use because I wanted to conserve disk space.

I used megalol's UltraFast adult games compressor. Didn't know what settings Bob used for the last version, so I left the options on the defaults.

The tool didn't throw any errors and I tested the start of the game and it looks fine.

Would be nice if the wiki listed stuff like available scenes for each girl, so you can focus on the ones that have the most content. Like, for the longest time i thought the morning blowjob scene was that same generic image for all girls, because i hadn't bothered to change the ones that do it. I know stuff like this is probably in the changelogs somewhere, but still, would be way easier to have it all neatly in one place.

Would be even better if it was somewhere in-game, it could be on the inventory screen, plenty of room there. Just the same little icon as on the "buy slave" and "process captures" screen.

There's an icon like that for the threesomes already, having that for other scenes as well would be great.

Well IIRC MoR2 is going to be set several hundred years in the future, but also explore more/different places.
I have a feeling what, with current AI progress, in a couple of years the snapping AI to some heavy rule TTRPG, like a Traveler, will evolve from hard nerdy activity to easy accessible entertainment for everyone. So you no need to wait centuries. Or even no need to wait MoR2 at all.

Over the next ten years, AI is going to revoltuionize practically everything including all types of videogames. It remains to be seen if that revolution is going to be a good or a bad thing. It has the potential to bring productivity and quality of work up to a new level or it could be used to release a never ending stream of slop. Let's hope it's the former.

Finally played both NWO and SMR and after thinking on it, NWO is better imo even if its outdated. Its not as meaty as SMR ofc, its fun to bum around with Mordecai's offspring and maybe some players would rather be a Caesar than a Washington but there's still something more grand about NWO. SMR is a bit more lowkey, even its final boss is just another fight in NWO. You build up your LI in NWO, you win over your LI in SMR.

I think i just like NWO more because you're more proactive and make your own destiny, SMR is about proving yourself to a higher order.

All types of games may be will need far more time. But such as text+images already has competition with AI chat bots and similar things. With a right tuning it's can be any genre, theme, tuned at yours own preferences for pacing, mechanics, psych, fetishes (especially luring part, due to AI express them, not just common +/- to smth, like most adult games do, MoR included) and so on. All of it has problems like lack of right UI and the need to learn several skills, to understand how to create complex plays with AI. But I think one day it's can be cover too.

I think SMR route is just fine the problem is the quick ascend to the top of the foodchain due of the lack of content with other faction especially Kymanto. You should not get access to Aria for like 3 to 5 quest or without great investment to the guild before getting there. But since I think the faction revamp is gonna take a long time so for now we are stuck with the current content. The game just needs more midgame stuff to do to be honest.

Realistically, 10 to 20 years until next breakthrough in technologies across the board

Agreed. AI is already begining to change gameing a bit with just what we have now and I am not refering to just art and story generation. They are making games now that have characters that are all AI. You can talk to NPCs, ask them questions, and they will respond using AI generation. It is honestly wild. Things like that will revolutionize gaming and it only really requires slightly better tech and better trained AI than what we currently have. Imagine an Elder Scrolls game or a GTA game where every NPC is unique and interactive. Walk up to them and have a unique converstation that is not pre scripted. A wild concept but one that is absolutely possible. It is also a concept that I personally hope comes to fruition.

Where is a liiittle problem, what hardly can be covered in a current technologies. Interactive NPC need an interactive environment. It's a bit hard to express unique self when character can only fight or talk.
In text based games it's easy to create or destroy things locally and globally. Not only in physical terms, but also socially, storywise or sandbox type. Go around some story points, creating shortcuts or prolong the chapters. Maybe even introduce new mechanic on the course of game, or discard uninteresting.
But if game start to have graphic, 3d, lights and so on, all the things what videogames praised regularly in current days, the amount of coding required to implement new things or adjusting already existing, on a flight, is beyond capabilities of today hardware and software.

Yeah, the games I have seen that have the interactive nature I am talking about are in their early stages. They are more of a proof of concept type of thing. I had always assumed the big factor in implementing something like that would be storage and processing limitations. If you interact with an NPC you want that NPC to remember every interaction as well as their responce which would eventually become memory and storage heavy. On top of that, you would also need an AI to be able to process all of that infomration quicly enough to where the game felt emersive and not have to wait fifteen minutes for an NPC to respond which means you need no shortage of processing power.
