Have patience, her acquisition event might take up to 300 days to execute.

Day 18 :ROFLMAO:
I've only ever gotten her on one playthrough, and I think it was on day 14 or so. Barely even had my guards set up
Most of my other games are multiple years in and no sign of her
Really wish it was less RNG, it's kind of silly like this

I've met and enslaved Kelly about half a dozen times. Always wasted several days, perhaps a week or so, seeking trough a rubbish heap. Got one bleeding wound, suffered one mediocre surprise detonation, got one point of strenght, another of endurance and a pitiful few Wega canisters I valued a tad more than the waste of time and the legendary Red River Circlet, "RRC".
I always gave the circlet (stupidly?) to Kelly and - IIRC - never got a proper idea whether the girl really went and gave it to a priest in her home village or not.
First time - years back - Kelly just vanished with her precious thing and never returned. I suspected she just needed an explanation for escaping from my house (and sell the armor & weapon I had given her). Next several times I think she didn't go anywhere and never offered any explanations I could see (or remember) about the course of her grand task.
Times change, the game gets new features. Perhaps - just perhaps - there is a very good reason to keep Kelly in house and happy. Maybe I should've given her to the Mad Preacher instead of 70 grand for that very suspicious crown the Catholic church so desires this time.

I realised I killed Tuner Jackson by mistake a long time ago. Is there any cheat to restore him so I can add him to my household? Console? Thanks!
SugarCube.State.active.variables.tuner = 1
resets Tuner into the docks so you can fight him (lower left)
How can i fix this?((
Did you edit the html file or tried to console command time/date? If not, is this the latest alpha version (0.8.4.8 a1.1)?

The circlet does nothing and is not part of anything else so you can either give it to Kelly or it will just remain a variable in your save file. Its only purpose is to give to Kelly once you asked her background and then it will give some minor rewards (Standing for the church I think, Affection and Respect from her).

My most recent run took 412 days... I'm at 530+ and still no urchin (I've had some of the events leading up to her pop at least).

are there ever going to be any deeper mechanics related to the faction stuff i.e fort sera faction and rebels faction? what I mean is that currently at the moment (maybe I'm just a noob and have missed content) the only thing you gain from these factions are money and a boost to your power value which shows up like 5 times and allows you to skip combat using your influence.. I had imagined I would be able to use the guys I send to fort sera to undermine or protect some of my holdings or use the rebels for same reason but now with plausible deniability.. maybe a future faction overhaul? they do seem to be very basic money sinks at the moment.

I don't want to sound like I'm complaining or anything just curious if this would ever be possible, love the progress you've made with the game.

Well they did just overhaul the Catholic faction, so maybe others are gonna get the same treatment.

But with Fort Sera first of all you can take over the marsh watchtower north of Fort Sera and most importantly perhaps, you can launder a lot of soldiers through there that you then can use as guards at your various other businesses, like Burakumin Village.

Do I have to join the Catholic church for the Iron Order quest to kick start? Keep training with the militia everyday but nothing new comes up yet.

The new catholic quests are still a work in progress -- such as it is an alpha for playtesting purposes there are a lot of loose ends and bugs. This is NOT a more polished public release. You'll note that the published 8.4.8 change logs contain material that is not in this version.

Does anyone know if there is a cheat to get Zenobia? I forgot to take her in The Ring quest.
Pick any random combat and put this into the console:

Code:
/* Zenobia */
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_type = 21;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_pos = 3;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_state = 2;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_poswant = 3;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy2 = "CYBER GIRL";
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_weapon = "powerkatana";
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_health = 75;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_htype = 75;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_wpskill = 90;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_dex = 60;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_armor= "padded";
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_soak = 5;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_sex = "her";
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_strength = 200;
SugarCube.State.active.variables.enemy1_id = 206;

I had a question I was curious about. When you create your character there are some skills that can't be picked without certain stats like melee, but those skills can't be modified at all without taking certain backgrounds like the soldier. My question is, can traits actually be earned in the game? Like say I picked the rise from the ashes start, and in game finally got enough melee would I be able to get the deadly strike trait?

No.

There are some traits you can earn, check wiki for "master traits" for example, but none of what you're asking for.

While there are acquireable traits, pretty sure all of the starting character traits are only obtainable in character creation.
