The game itself is just a scene gallery. There is no progress to make, you just pick a file(scene) and watch it, all of them are unlocked from the start.

Did anyone else have sound bugs when it came to applejack + rarity and the Pheobe rabbit character? The voice lines don't play for some reason.

Edit: Never mind I just needed to close the game and restart it again. Seemed to fix it.

For that to happen he'd have use the zapper on Tangles.
Not sure of the (in-game) legal implications of that (using a device on their own staff).

You misunderstand, what I meant was Tangles would be the zappership and we'd get our own boss attacks. We'd have to lose for narrative purposes but it would've been cool to see.
