Hello everyone, just started the game, despite having it for ages in my backlog. I am just curious if is normal to have black screen when you bang the stewardess, or it a issue with my copy. Note, I installed it yesterday with no mod no nothing.
Well seems there is an issue either on my end or idk... but seems the game can't play webm videos at least on my end and is weird cuz i have other games and it play them like it should while in game. Nevermind, fixed by reinstalling.

Wait 2 years without an update and its just a app and menu overhaul? Tf.

its the mod. The WT is what does it. I downloaded it with the mod and looked to see if it had anyone else has same issue. I did a fresh install no mod and worked but when I pasted in the WT mod it didn't work.

Na, we had an update less than 2 months ago.
Oh man, it was hard typing that without laughing.
No, it's not officially dead, but 18 months for a bug fix that didn't actually fix the bugs, it may as well be.
Just look at the changelog or read the last page or two of the thread, it's really not that hard to find things out for yourself if you put in the smallest amount of effort.
He made a patreon post on may 13th.

Ello Otters!
I have fantastic news: I have officially gotten to where I need to be in terms of progress on the games. It took me a very long time to get here, as I had many, many months to make up for, but we are finally here.
Matrix Hearts 3.9.9 (Steam Version) is still officially launching this month. I'm not going to give a precise date yet because the new animations have not been easy. With that said, I am also working on my animation skills so that way we no longer have to wait this long for animations.
3.9.9 contains all the new spheres for Chapter 3.
Maelstrom Chaser Chapter 1 is also launching this month as well. It's going to come after I have polished up 3.9.9. There's going to be a deep dive later this week about all the features coming in the new game.
You can also expect all regularly scheduled Patreon content to continue releasing this month as well! The first is going to be about where you want Chapter 4 to go between two routes to connect between Chapter 4 and Chapter 5. Then all I have to do it work on that, and the renders will be complete!

Don't torture yourself, waiting for releases or updates for this one.Any info on the devs Patreon post from two days ago? I swear... if this shit got delayed again I'ma remove it from my Steam wish list
He's going to release 3.9.9 Steam version, finish the new game Chapter 1, and release that on steam too. Then do Patreon release for Matrix Hearts all before the 31st of May. (It's already 31st may for me).
And how did that deep dive into Maelstorm's features go? The one that was being released 2 weeks ago.
Or the "regularly scheduled patreon content" that was being released during the month too?
