Mr. Otter constantly writes about the release dates of the update. And each time the update does not come out on the appointed date.

Chapter 4 was just about ready in September 2023. Dev pops his head up gives a new release date every few months and still nothing. The latest ones were 30 May, pushed back to 30 June, and guess what? .....
There was a bug fix released a few months back (that didn't actually fix the worst bugs), but it got the Abandoned Tag removed.

maybe in 5 years we will have 2 updates and 1 bug fix update.Such a good game with good story and no updates to that story

No, chapter 4 was ready in September 2023 and we're still waiting.
Seriously, we don't know, he keeps promising release dates for almost 2 years now and they just never show up. Just the last few months we had a promise of May 31, then it was pushed back to June 30, then it was a couple of days. And since end of June it's been silent. For about a year, he's had another game finished and ready to launch, but it's never turned up either.

At this point, I feel like the odds of whatever gets released IF anything ever gets released will never live up to those first two chapters.

What is the expectation for those buying this on Steam? Buying a game that didn't have any update since 2023?

I'm really sorry, I can't remember the title of the game. It's one of those games that are only like at v0.3 after more than a year.

Anyone still a member of this scam? Would love to see what excuse the dev came up with in his new patreon post since the update should've been released about half a year ago along with his totally real new game he's making.
Was curious, no developer posts on Steam, even though folks there seem a bit miffed at the lack of news, and the Patreon is still..."active," but no game updates.
I'm honestly impressed people are still expecting updates at this point, but that's the pull of a well done game, I suppose.

I mean, if you're trying to keep the scam going (sure buddy, there will be an update!) then the smart thing to do would be monitor the relevant thread here & post when it gets too...ahem, "hot."
