Thank you for being so patient with me. I have now returned to being a full-time Otter! Now, you all wanna know, where's the next update, right? I was going to power through with the Point and Click update for Season One, but I have been reading comments and want to do something that's better for the game. I want to fix all the things with Chapters 1-3! This is going to include anything: renders that weren't showing up, renders with issues (starting from Chapter 3), routes that go into choices the player chooses, and everything you can think of! Write in the suggestions or Matrix Hearts channel. This update comes out later this month, while next month we can do the proper content update.

thanks for posting this but reading this makes me wonder if I should do a replay even tho I just played not that long ago since it gonna include some fixes haha. I'll decide on the next content update is out haha

It needed a recoding/pathing - it was terrible (which was a shame, because everything else was great). Hopefully, without redoing renders it will be a quick one. But since Chapter 4 was just about finished according to a post on 22nd September, 2023, I'm not holding my breath.

this dev so full of shit, mid august he says "release next week", month and half later - "oh, i'm returning to work now and guess what - rework too!"

the game is nice and the story is kinda interesting, but I dont like the mc, he behaves like a child, whos never seen tits before.

So like 99% of VN MC's in a school setting then? On that particular annoyance, this is far better than the majority of similar entities.

Just wanted to post a message on behalf of the dev here.
Not getting into the specifics, because you don't care anyway, but just know that they went through something very hard and that the hiatus wasn't planned nor expected to be that long.
Back on track now, but before you start spewing venom and hatred again, remember that LIFE comes first.

So he got a dev who abandoned his own game after one release....who also had excuse after excuse and please be patient messages.....to convey that message?

Must have been serious, Chapter 4 was just about finished and being released in October a year ago.
Then quit his job (twice?) to work on MH fulltime.
Less than 2 weeks ago he announced an update would be released this month (and a rework too).
Now a plea for patience??
Something else has happened in the last 10 days??

F95 staff/mods are the ones who decide on "on hold" tag, following forum rules.

It's the F95 guys that decide, but Devs can still contact them and ask for it (Like the aforementioned Dev did).
All I can say is thank you to everyone for being patient with me, and yes, I could have handled everything differently. That is the one thing I regret.
I tried multiple times to be transparent about things, but we all process hard times differently. I couldn't bring myself to do it. I still don't want to talk about it because every time I do, well, it hurts.
Hard times are painful. This year I learned that lesson. You can't take life from granted. I don't regret leaving behind my responsibilities and taking time to be with and do what came up in life. And even when it was done, I fell into a mental hole that was very hard to get out of.
I got back to working in full in August. There was a delay between the Patreon post and Discord. They were supposed to be posted at the same time, but the timed message addon didn't work for some reason. That's why it looked like I left and came back.
I've been back, I am back, and WE are back. There are things I need to make right before releasing Chapter 4. I promised I would fix things in Chapters 1-3, and players who asked for better should get that. Routes and choices deserve to be on the correct pathing. Renders need to be there. Quality is key. Now, I didn't think there was as much to fix as there has been, and I open anyone to please tell me what you want fixed as well. It's going to be a chaotic month before I'm back to even, but I can promise you my goals are to make the best game possible.
If you are hyper critical of me, you have every right to be. Keyboard warrior your rant, unfollow this project, and move on. Please stop spewing venom because you think you are high and mighty. You aren't, but you are entitled to your opinion.
Everyone who has been waiting patiently, you are the bedrock of why I wanna keep creating, of why I took the proper steps to get better mentally and pursue my path to better game development. Please let me know what you want fixed! If it's in my power, I can fix it! And even if progress on Chapter 4 has been turtle, it's still been going on, and you'll start seeing a lot more next month.
