Its been 18 months since the last update. It should already be marked as per site rules.
It might get marked if you report it.
Doesn't it get to stay without the abandoned tag if the Dev is commenting on the forum and at least claiming that it isn't abandoned?
I think I'm just going to expect that it will never get updated but hope that I'm completely wrong and we get an update sometime soon. Though I admit I feel like the second game announcement is a sign that things aren't going well on the primary game (even if the Dev isn't ready to admit that to themselves or others) and they need a new project to help them reset their brain and get back into the swing of things (so in my mind that means it's likely going to be a while before the main game gets an update if ever).

No. The rules state there are 3 scenarios where a game gets the Abandoned prefix:
1. No update for 18 months.
2. No communication from dev for 3 months.
3. Game has On Hold prefix for 6 months without receiving an update.
Any one of these leads to the Abandoned prefix.

With the amount of silence that has happened (I assume it's been silent outside of here but idk) - I wonder if the silence would have been better continued until we got even closer to the 25th. Would be cool to see this game continued though anyway
