I not undestend, were is Just UpDate Pacth like it been always here? I need only update 0.46! (>_<)
This update is the start of a new chapter, or stand-alone game. So, I guess it is the patch? If you check it, it's quite small.

Was there ever a fix (or simply solution) for this error? How much story would I be missing if I simply skip it, and move on to Chapter 5?

Just follow my step from the comment RIGHT above you.

P.s: If you read what the MC says, he isn't looking for a way to the pool. He is looking for Grandpa.
I think this is a different step. Maeve just tells me "I am talking to Alvin about the next photoshoot". Grandpa is downstairs watching TV.

The game is full of Bad t, why is part 3 worse than the previous ones, I got stuck at the moment with Sofia I bought an outfit, but there is no further progress (the dialogues apparently broke) and the events themselves are crooked, find what to do, poke a hundred times, garbage, the first part was normal, the rest is garbage
