Dev Response seems to quell the ragers, I don't think this game would've reached that high of potential as you make it, game was lagging for 10-15 seconds after animations or changing location and Sandbox wasn't very clear on what you should be doing. Are you sure the 2019 was NTR beginning? Making Porn event was optional If I'm not remembering wrong, even in the early chapter Alvin's mother's could be shared, no? Game heavy Sharing shift was mostly around mid-chapter 4, If I'm not mistaking. I'm sorry, but if people had left the game before that mark then they would be fooling themselves about NTR making this game worse(Also, dev made those optionals better back than, ngl)because Max was still the main focus back then, no reason leaving over 2-3 optional content, no?

Also, I don't want to shit on other dev in a completely irrelevant thread, but agreed on Killer7 content getting more than it deserves, far better HS games out there, that one was just boring to me.

That's great you have a lot of opinions and you are welcome to them but your opinions aren't facts. He presented facts.
What you do with them is up to you but you ain't a seer and you don't know what would have happened or not.
There is empirical data that suggests he would've continued his growth like other developers though but we'll never know now.
Also admitting proven fact that it was bad for business did not quell the ragers or bring people back.

Also, I never claimed he lost 90% of support though and I never said that, I was calling bullshit on you saying adding ntr doesnt have much of an effect when this game's decadence is the living proof that it does. This was one of the best games back in 2019 earning close to 1000 per month, it was out there with other greats, if it hadnt gone to shit it would have kept growing like most other games, thats why I posted how games that also started close to this one kept growing and didnt experience this harsh drop in earnings.

It's really quite simple you used his fan count as a metric of success and pointed out how steady it has been. MONEY is the actual measurement of success and the dev even admits shit went bad for him after his little genre transition so just come off it and quit being obtuse dude.

I think 2019 had more problems than adding NTR, I don't think that's the only reason. Chapters 2-3 were barely playable at that time, and the family content was mostly done. I don't know how many stick around after that, even the Killer7 graph you posted shows people move on when they get what they want, If it wasn't for the new game he was making the numbers would've plummeted. And if most NTR haters were gone when NTR/Sharing scenes were added, then that means NTR/Sharing expecters keeping this game afloat. I think Dev knows this fact by now, because the shift moved from Max to Home now, which is clear to see. I don't know how many older players coming here for the Max content dev is putting rn over what's happening at home.

Looking back at it, he had that Daz Max's life remake and people that were interested in that game may have dropped off after he abandoned it. You may be right about there being more reasons for any decline, but correlation is not causation so I don't want push that personally. But you thought that it was more than one reason makes more sense, because if it was JUST NTR then there wouldn't be people coming back since there even more NTR now

The game is in no way recovering the profitability it already lost and chapter 5 is the last one according to the dev. Just come off it man you've already been proven wrong it's OK.

And I'll only try the game again when I'm sure I can make the only guy who has sex scenes (with the LIs or any other girls) be the MC. And the LIs don't think about other guys at any time, and all the NTR/shared feeling disappears from the game.

I think that Kuggazer made a good decision adding sharing scenes, but his way of implementing could def be better without touching the "mental cuck" people's ire and now he is trying to salvage stuff, this is always a hot topic. I think Kugga is making his best HS renders yet, but people focus on other things, and I feel sorry for him. Started this game around the end of chapter 2 with incest-harem, but no denying his work improved much more even with sharing-ntr stuff people like to parrot about(which is more exciting part of the game rn, because Max's content was getting dull.)

I hope these comments do not demotivate him, because his HS renders became great, I'll miss him a lot if he leaves the Honey Select completely in the future.
