This is a solid tech demo I guess. There is nothing to do, only 2 quests to grind money and nothing in between to have some fun. I will revisit this when there is at least some content in the game.

First of all kudos for making this. I know how hard it is to start something from scratch and make it into something worthwhile and it was pretty fun to play. The dialogue was humorous and quirky and apart from a few typos here and there (Vic's Noting instead of nothing comes to mind) it was pretty good. Simple short no nonsense stuff. Choice of models was also pretty apt.

However, I do have some constructive tips that you might want to implement.
Firstly, the UI looks a little clunky especially in the player's home screen. You might wanna take a look at that and make it a bit non intrusive.

Second, there should be a player stats gauge where you can see the stats of the player's progression for example the gym counter. Although you did place a line there which informed the player yes you can now resume work at the garage, but since the action was a bit repetitive it can easily be missed if someone was skipping through scenes.

You are absolutely right about the other things, I will work on those (the stat screen should be ready for the next update)

It is a very good start indeed, if this really is your first project - well done, you're on a good way

My toughts on possible improvement:
The only quest you get at the beginning is the "grind to 1k" quest. And then you do this day after day without anything happening which is not very entertaining or rewarding, especially when it changes to the "work 20 days in the garage" quest where nothing happens for a long time either. It just feels like a grind. Of course, it's an easy grind because of the time change and sleep function, but still. There is a lot of content after these initial 20 days have been dealt with but I feel like there should be some more content during this grind. More interactions with Melanie at home or when visiting Victoria, more incidents with Ashley or Kendra (nothing big, just glances at them at work, for example, so no scenes but single images). This would ease the grind a bit, I think, and not scare people off which I think it might have, judging by some of the comments here.

But of course this is only the beginning and you might have all these things in mind anyway

I feel a bit scammed for paying $150 for the internet, having a porn button but nothing happening though

First of all, thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts.
You are right, I planned to add random events during working hours or while navigating around various locations (as for Melanie in the house, have you checked the 7:00 AM shower event?), but right now I just wanted to give you guys something playable since I haven't been able to post an update in a while.
Also, about the "Watch porn" button... yeah... that's a dick move

Hi Jogy1959. That event is at the end of version 0.04 (you can find it below the Walkthrought on the original post) and it isn't in version 0.05.



Keep in mind that version 0.04 doesn't have a gameplay (you just left-click with the mouse and the story goes on).
That being said, I'd like to put Christmas content for the december update (plus, all the content in version 0.04 will be added in the future versions of the game).

This is a big step up from previous versions. Nice work, just needs a little fine tuning and a lot more content and this will be a good game but the foundation is mostly there.

Actually enjoyed this. Usually real photos/videos in ren'py just doesn't go well but you managed to pull it off. Just to echo some thoughts from above:
1. Until you get the random events in, cut down the grind from 20 to maybe 5. Until there is something for us to do, there is no reason to do 20 of these

2. Add a stat counter page. We need to grind strength to 20 (should be 5 until we get some more content). But we have no idea how to track that

3. Assuming its coming, but the option of anal with the waitress should be high on the list of things to do next.
