Lo-res version is also available for those who don't have enough space to install the original version. It's also faster to install.

why is this version only 1.5gb?(0.10 was 3.7 gb). is this a crappy reencode of the game? or did Mr dots games drop the quality of their work? a big part of the appeal this game had for me was the clean and sharp images and not just the crappy, noisy, 720p render other games have...

I prefer full quality and compressed doesn't work with my saves.

Sorry for being slow, but what do you mean by "compressed" in this case, please?

That is, I just installed v0.12 from the MrDots link and it seems to be loading my prior saves, at least. It's possible you are talking about something else, though.

you cant post 2 jpgs and compare them when the original is a .png they are gonna look similar cause u have them both compressed (jpg does not magically make pics smaller you lose data to achieve that) here are 2 .png that show the differences

You posted completely diffrent renders.I posted same render from Melody 0.01 and from 0.12.There was never an PNG renders

Like others have said I can confirm that the last 2 updates of melody had an obvious decrease in the image quality, maybe it's not noticeable on a small screen (or low resolution) but on a large one the difference is obvious.
