For those others who find size comparisons expressed as "n times smaller" being overly convoluted: the size of the WEBP version is 40% of the JPG version (or a bit less than half).

A better comparison would be a WEBP version (or JPG for that matter) compared to PNG. There you would find the size of WEBP to be a small fraction (or percentage) of PNG.

Many of those are jpg or png named webp... Best compression is old tiff LZW...

I think it's indeed time for Melody to end, no bad things to say about the art, but as more episodes happen, I'm caring less and less about the story. Pretty much did all this one cliking without reading, whereas I still read pretty much everything in DmD even tho it has way more updates. Said it already but besides nice looking characters, the story is just super Vanilla, ie good looking experienced guy who can play guitar fucks pretty girls. It's like the life story of Adam Levine if he wasn't famous. Or any good looking guy playing guitar. It's boring unless you're almost new to internet porn. Not blaming the devs entirely, without Patreon's stupid rules for respecting a moral code for pixel characters, they could have wrote a story without such limitations to their creativity.

none of the saves working .... my or other I have downloaded .... do not wanna sound rude but why the saves are so problematic to use after every update ..... Mr dot could finally make an update that wount have such issues ....great game I love it to play but why so much problems after every update ?

Let's start with I like this game because of it's vanilla . But as you can hump the girl on just so many ways it's getting a bit tiresome .
Should the devs want to find new life they have to find drama and that doesn't suit the game .
Guess it has run it's course.

i'm bummed that Melody is coming to an end,wish it could last longer. i don't have any doubts in Mrdots work,but i don't think he can come up with better set of characters than in Melody,but we will see.

It's already compressed with what appears to be my cruncher tool. I got about halfway through compressing it and there was literally no reduction in size.

me too. I wish I can have ending with Xianne

TBH, in Life with Mary, I prefer Andy (mother) over her. while in here, I prefer Amy (aunt) over Melody. and it would be awesome to have Xianne+Amy

but I hope I can have a good ending with Amy.

That was good I'm playing the Melody only route so the Amy scenes were difficult but at least that talk is out of the way, also for me the Steve scene felt out of place so it was one way to get rid of him but after the stealing of the guitar and the outcome of that I'd rather just never saw the guy again

I prefer full quality and compressed doesn't work with my saves.

Finally ... Devs got around to optimize their build and ship it very much ready to Game on any PC
