While Melody is the hottest girl in the game IMO, I kinda wish her nudity is kept to a minumum for the time being. Instead they should build up to the big moment when she unveils herself to the MC and to us for the first time. Not that I would complain if she wins.

I've just finished reading the 68+ pages of this thread, waiting to write my comment on this amazing game...
but let me write about people first.
How hard is it to take your time and read everything before asking a question? Already in the first 30 pages almost half the posts were people asking for the next version's date, asking if DMD was over and reporting the same "didn't go to the other job interview" bug.
Are your lives really so busy that you can't spare 30 mins to an hour, to catch up on a thread? You must be earning millions at least!
Back when ffree/fcommunity were booming i remember reading 300/400/500 pages threads just to be able to comment something.
You're lucky i'm no mod, otherwise i would be banning people like that on a daily...
Now...
About the Melody game, it's shaping up to become one of the trend setters of "new" 3D games, and it does an amazing job on both renders quality (even if it's not on Lewdlab's DoD level) and storytelling.
Sure most people looking for this kind of games probably want some up-and-go jack material, but imo learning from the oriental VN style (write an interesting story to keep people hooked, then add up some 18+ as a reward) is doing wonders for content creators such as MrDots.
Personally, i'm more intrigued by an interesting story with realistic characters and i must say this game does at least half of it right;
- The story is refreshing, moving away from most clichés, while keeping some (dude immediately meets beauties)
But the characters, until now at least, are kinda unrealistic.
Everyone is way too kind and innocent, even MC, it looks like a world seen by a White Knight's POV.
Let's make a quick example, finding virgin girls at 19yo in my country is damn near impossible, the only ones like that are either mentally prude, ugly/obese af, or too focused on study to care about men until their 30yo bday at least.
Either way, they're not model-like beauties with men at their feet.
The other kind of girl here, the vast majority, at 12 already had intercourse, talks like a trucker and smokes 40 per day.
However i can understand why the "innocent" type has such a big following in games, because a lot of people playing have some kind of lingering hatred for some girl in real life that probably rejected/ignored them, and finding refuge in a setting where girls never act hostile towards MC fuels their hope to find one like that for themselves.
(Hey, i'm just speaking generally, no need to reply with "i have a wife" or stuff like that)
Tl;dr, the game is amazing and one of the best around, i just wish the characters were more realistic.

You know why characters like Bayonetta,Samus,Lara Croft etc have enormous fanbase.Because you won't find them in real life.Same goes with porn games.If we want characters in the game to be like the real girls we won't be playing the game.

And even if what you're saying is a valid point, with no doubt many people thinking the same as you, why is it that a lot of commenters here on this very thread put the innocence of the girls as one of the few bad points of the game?
I've also seen a lot of posts say "At least Melody isn't a mentally 12yo in the body of a 18", hinting that Daughter from DmD was too pure for a girl her age.
Let's just say there are people looking for both things, some want the ideal non-existent woman, some would prefer a more realistic one.
I'm of the second genre haha
In my mind, the perfect (yet to be created) Dating Simulation is one where doing the same exact thing you do in game, would end up working also in real life, but of course considering every single woman is different, has her own taste etc, it isn't possible.

i finally tried the game, theres a MrDots vibe to it, both quality and scenes. i didnt expect anything, contrary i thought it gonna be boring, but i was wrong, its well done and interesting so far. i will try to not expect anything and wait a bit more before analyzing it further.

yes, i know its his game, but what i meant is that the game is similar to dmd,
it could have been more different, its not that a dev need to do everything the same, some dev are quite creative and seldom do the same twice. but for melody we can recognize the same patterns he use in dmd. and sure its a success so why change...

He has to be very careful because of his agreement with Patreon. He is categorically forbidden to use any of his Patreon money to develop DmD (or any other game containing incest). Even so, the beach scene in Melody proves that both stories exist in the same universe.I wonder if he can mix the girls too
