Whenever a quick time event animation occurs, the ones where you get grabbed, my framerate drops to Powerpoint as well.
From my experience, this is usually the case of the engine suddenly drawing a lot of stuff every frame, or in some way making wasteful use of resources.

I'll try some common troubleshooting steps, but if anyone has any advice, it'll be welcome.
