Selene doesn't say anything about a third habitat. She says it's one of the southern rooms, so, Habitat A.Cant do the serene selene quest as i cant even find the third habitat in question, am i being dumb or is there only two and the quest item just isn't showing up
Very kind of you, thank you. ♥This game is absolutely AMAZING! I did NOT expect the level of quality at all. Or the number of fetishes for that matter. It's really, really, REALLY good. I've had more fun with this game than with plenty of other games with high quality art or whatever.
I didn't read all the scenes yet... there's only so much horny I can handle after all... but I'll probably come back to the game to read more of them from time to time. For obvious reasons. XD
As someone who's played both CoC and TiTs in various iterations, and other text games in general... I can honestly say that this game doesn't lose out to them in any way. Indeed, in a number of ways, it's definitely better than the aforementioned two games, because the combat and progression system is significantly more interesting and with a higher potential. Additionally, a lot of the scenes in those games tend to be a lot.... weaker than what Mercanoid has, simply because they need to account for the insane amount of customization in them.
Having a static character might seem limiting in some ways, but it's definitely the best choice if you actually want a wide variety of smut.... which I'm more interested in, to be honest, than having the most ideal player-character possible.
If want that, I'll just go RP. Or write my own smut in general. That has its own issues, but it's going to beat out any game in terms of ideal protagonist anyway.
Mio's super fun anyway. Her reaction to the various situations in the tentacle-lab are hilarious. In plenty of games, I end up going for side-stories and stuff because of my completionist tendencies more than actual interest... but this game actually made me want to do all the rescues and find all the scenes and whatnot. Got the Good End on the first try without even trying.
I won't comment much on the fact that there could be MOAR of... everything really. Levels. Skills. Items and Weapons. Characters. Scenes... Just. MOAR. XD Instead, I'll say that I eagerly await your next project(s) and I hope my financial situation will allow to provide at least some funding.
Seriously. This is an amazing game, and an amazing framework to build on. You should be proud. I've seen many H-games over the years, and plenty of them lose out to this one in many ways, in spite of better funding and often bigger and/or more experienced teams.
Thank you very much for the kind words! It's nice when a player enjoys the story and lore as as they do the smut! ♥So, I find myself gratefully surprised by this game.
It is actually a very fun, and I have to say, nicely immersive experience thus far. The story-writing is very very good, I can feel how passionate Pyksies was about this side of the game, which I honestly appreciate myself, as there's way too many games out there that just focus way too much on the porn and completely forget about gameplay and storywriting.
There has been quite a few scenarios already where I found myself laughing at some of the interactions between the characters, there's some nice dynamics going on there. The D&D like system of how your weapon scales, and how you can upgrade your weapon, as well as many of the other systems currently in game are really really good and in-depth. Another sign of passion not only for just the sexual scenes but striving to make an actually fun and rewarding to play game.
I have to say, I haven't even paid attention much to the sexual scenes that happen in the game, the gameplay hooked me up so much that I just have them unlocked, ready to be checked whenever I desire, but I haven't gotten to that point yet. I do have to say, I was a little curious that you couldn't get something going with the people you rescue along your mission. I still have quite a few side quests to do and didn't even get to the SLED part yet, but it would be nice if we could have some of those in the future, if they're planned.
I was also checking the CODEX, for some of the information there, and I do have to say.. huuuuuuge thank you for bringing demonic races into the game, it is one of my utmost favorite races besides elfic races so I'm definitely going to make sure to have some fun with those whenever I get to it heh. I also appreciate the futa content, the only one I seem to have found up until now is the secret scene with our companion, I forgot her name, B4B3? thanks to the enhancements Ervina made to her code hehe.
I do hope to see some more futanari content in the future, as that is also another one of my utmost favorites, but going by what I've experienced in-game so far, I'm sure you'll be more than capable to bring up some spicy and varied content throughout the game's life cycle.
I will be following this game's development up-close, as I have to say it has become a very nice experience to delve in. Something new and definitely worth the while. Keep up the good work, I await the next updates with great enthusiasm
Endlessly appreciated, thank you! ♥Rather than repeating what praises have already been said, I'll just say that I enjoyed this so much that I donated some cash through Itch.io. I wish you success on your future endeavors.
1) In MERCANOID, nothing. MERCANOID is built upon a framework I intend on using for more games, and while I tried my absolute best to fit in an example of everything in the timeframe I allowed myself, the clothing stats do not have an effect. In practice, Clothing is meant to affect how people view the protagonist on first impression. I didn't want to tie too much actual effect to your outfit choice, as that would be restrictive!... but I wanted there to be some logic there. So, in future, bigger games, dressing skimpy will have people comment on that, and may even affect how some bolder NPCs treat the player. Dressing for intimidation can make people take the protag more seriously, but can also overly intimidate the more timid.Couple of questions:
1) What do clothing stats affect? My guess was that intimidation increases morale damage while sex appeal made enemies more likely to use focus damage, but I couldn't tell any difference.
2) What does increase morale damage?
Also, using Core Push in the tutorial battle unlocks normal combat options. Fleeing either softlocks you or teleports you into the first hallway (depending on whether you unlocked it)
Glad to hear you enjoyed the game!Hello, enjoyed the game greatly. The progression pacing felt just right, and the combat system was fun with balancing flow and glow. Appreciated the content toggles and not having to force losses to get content, massive plus for me. I did have a few questions.
If I'm counting right, all the scenes involving pregnancy of some kind are:
-The Glob Defeat (globnancy?)
-The Bearslug Defeat (eggnancy)
Is that everything involving pregnancy or have I missed some sections? You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Secondly, I know that you have said you'll probably only add more scenes to this game, so I'll change the question to: in any future games, do you plan to have pregnancy mechanics outside of bad ends? Fertility/virility stats, cycles, all of that deal?
Again, enjoyed the game. My only complaint is that I enjoyed it so much I want to do more, although I guess that will be resolved once you release any other games.
I'll have to check myself later.I wanna say the Drikk, FUM and Gulper have breeding elements, but I'd need to go back and reread the scenes to be sure.
Understandable, I know most games with those mechanics don't usually call attention to your pregnancy in combat which I found a little strange, but also fine because getting damaged at all in that state probably isn't pleasant to write about. Also in most other games, they usually have some sort of nursery where your children happily live pure lives away from all the nasty stuff so you don't have to think about anything uncouth happening to them. Although I think only games with a focus on the mechanic have the children actually play a part in gameplay, with them usually being either actual NPCs you interact with at home base or monsters that join the fight against you/with you (and sometimes just harmlessly leave to join the unnamed masses of random encounters). As for pregnancy/breeding mechanics, it's unlikely. I have some personal hangups over the idea of fighting whilst pregnant, along with pumping out a bunch of sentient kids who then either have to be A) swiftly written out of the story or B) integrated into a world of raunchy oversexed nonsense. Monster babies/egglaying kind of gets around the kids part, but not the fighting-whilst part.
So, it's unlikely. Not impossible, but it would have to be specific premises/scenarios for it to happen.
Thank you very much for the kind words! It's nice when a player enjoys the story and lore as as they do the smut! ♥
Just to clarify though, MERCANOID is done. A 1.1 update with some extra scenes is possible, but it's not on my priority list at the moment - I want to move onto something new, something bigger and less restrictive than MERCANOID's 'superdungeon' scenario. MERCANOID ate a lot of my time, and while scenes with rescuees and alternative ending choices were absolutely on my radar, at a certain point I had to reign in scope and move on.
Never say never, tho.
Endlessly appreciated, thank you! ♥

tldr: unexplored mechanic to get more use in future titles.
2) Morale damage against enemies is actually set as a percentage of their HP lost. Not all enemies can be spared. It can also be decreased in certain situations:Again, in future titles, against a wider variety of more intelligent and emotional enemies, this mechanic should be expanded upon. You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Unofficial 3) ACK. I threw that tutorial together late in development, thank you! I'll put in some restrictions to prevent that.
E: Fixed!
I've got a (virtual) notebook full of ideas for more games. I want to make some varied experiences - MERCANOID here is what I consider a 'Superdungeon' game, just one big hostile space, linear progression. I'd like to try my hand at making a series of sandbox games exploring different cradles of life in the Glowing World era of my setting - 'Present Day' to MERCANOID's 'future'. I've got an idea for a series of combinaition life-sim/mecha exploration games, and various ideas for small 'rainy day' projects that might be more on the scope of my old CYOAs, just, better.Ahhhh, I see. So this is a finished project, well, thank you for the effort spent on this game as it is truly appreciated and a truly satisfactory experience.
If I may, what are your ideas for the next games you will do in the future, if you do make any other games. I would totally play another game you make, considering you have proven to be a very good game developer.
Interesting, interesting. I'm looking forward to those, whenever they comeI've got a (virtual) notebook full of ideas for more games. There's a lot I'd like to make. Probably not enough time to make it all, and more ideas come and go. I write the ones I think are good down! I'm working on something new already, an expansion to my framework (along with bugfixes from all the new players and reports), but it might be a while before I have anything meaningful to post about it. I drop occasional posts about what I'm up to and such on my discord, though.
Figure out who her parents are.Interesting, interesting. I'm looking forward to those, whenever they come
I'd totally join your Discord, but I have lost my trust in that platform for any sort of NSFW related content. But my DM's are open, should the opportunity ever arise to exchange talks .
Also, I believe to be almost at the end of the game and there's one little fellow that I'd like to "save" if possible.. and that is, the Slammia that you find in the monster pens. I've explored the map (except for the Sled Bay area) thoroughly, and I haven't found any means to awake her from her slumber and bring her to the safe area. Might not be the greatest idea, considering her character buuuut I just want to see what happens. Do you have any tips you can give me as to how I can save her?
Thank you very much!Figure out who her parents are.

Wow, I didn't even find Meh until just now when kiDRetadoR mentioned her. I think I had trouble figuring that you could enter the monster pens. The entrances on the map looked like glass to me, so I thought you could only enter the pens on the right side.Figure out who her parents are.
They're a tad too hard to read in the 11*11 24px tile map size, yeah. Lessons for another game, at this point.Wow, I didn't even find Meh until just now when kiDRetadoR mentioned her. Yeah, I was about to reply to Gordon saying that I also had a bit of hard time figuring out that you could enter the monster pens. They're a tad too hard to read in the 11*11 24px tile map size, yeah. Lessons for another game, at this point.
