In this case Covid was your best friend. An ever growing percentage of the IT world has no office and people work from home 100% of the time. This applies to contractors and consultants as well. Tell them you've got a gig consulting to a startup company working from home and that your NDA requires you to work in isolation. Early startups often choose to remain unidentified until "launch", so not naming them wouldn't be uncommon nor would you be allowed to talk about their product(s).

Follow up Answer: Because the way it is written: There is not much love left between MC and Wife. Also the MC hinted that in case a Divorce comes up, he want to make sure the Company is safe(ly in is hands). You also can choose in the very beginning if you have still romantic Feelings for your Wife or not. Although, I am not sure if the latter one is only available in the Mod to be honest.

To play devil's advocate: But the question should then be asked - why isn't there much love left? The situation between the MC and Sandra is the inciting incident which causes the MC to reevaluate his life and his relationships - pushing him towards the midlife crisis. This would include the one with his wife. She's not cheating on him, but he's out banging a call girl. It is apparent Sandra can be playful when the MC decides he should be a bit more cordial with her. In fact, even if you have the MC make a choice against being interested in remaining with Sandra, she somehow finds her way back in the storyline - and very open to many new experiences without much influence needed.
Perhaps that's part of the journey of the MC through his midlife crisis. To realize he's the asshole who's been fucking up their marriage all these years. And, as a result, on the road to having his cake and eat it too.
Absolutely Agree. But, that you do not have the choice to divorce her, despite being given some very direct hints very early on, makes it unfortunately one of those VN (IMHO), where it feels, that the Author gives you a false sense of "you have a choice".
Maybe it is part of the Story and I just hoped for too much.

Nefastus, I've had an actual job working at home for a company where we communicated by internet and phone most of the time. I was helping with some language editing and light clerical stuff over emails to help them get a few things going like manuals and shit. It could be a company that deals with visual novels and you help with the art? If it's as close to the truth as possible, there's less explaining to do down the road.
I can see this: "I didn't mention the adult part cuz it really wasn't a factor? I'm getting paid for this!!!" Not to mention that you can take some SFW images that you've already made and use it a wallpaper so if they see it, you can say that's your art and it's what you're getting paid for. Honestly, the closer to the truth you go, the better for your sanity.

Well, how much love there is left or reignited of course depends on your initial choice. But yeah, Nef has said that he wants to do the "one big happy family" stuff first and fill in the blanks (aka "kick girls out" part) later. I second this: "...depends on your initial choice..." I don't think there are any hints up to that point how the MC feels about the wife. That choice is literally the first interaction with the wife in the game. Maybe I'm missing something?
I mean Sucuck - you can feel how you'd like to - but I agree with others that the wife is one of the best parts of the dynamic.
