Writers block? i don't think so i think life is in the way and maybe even overwhelming for the Dev.
The next ep basically rights its self the only thing needs to know is how to end the game or create a season 2 and give us a small cliffhanger.

things to cover.
the possible babies he has made and who will be baby momma's
the next two conquest
(one can be completed when he meets Her mom all tied up and does them both) A little dark side spin off could happen here
(the other is a two ep long seduction which leads to her virginity going to him and then the brother finding out and how-to navigate that)
the to Sisters having sex with Mc and mom gets aroused watching it and Joins or goes off A good place to put a choice
the Escort becomes a part of the family
along with the secretary or not all choice based
each LI has their own story to go with the personality written and background but each can be given a lone term or short term stay with Mc based on choice given at given events of their adventure.

there is 3 o r 4 eps right there! and about 1000 renders easy and about 10 animations

Yes, it is. Yet, I doubt that anyone would picked this up.
Usually the devs who could do this, have their skills (and often know that) and rather like to do their own project than picking up another one, where their are limited in their artistic freedom as they need to match the previous devs style to have a good continuation.
And the other devs, who doesn't have that mich skill, if they tried they will simple get burn - doesn't mean that could not happend with the first type of devs.

So, I highly doubt that anyone other than the dev himself will finish this project. Chance for that is, in my eyes, around the same as having the hit the lottery jackpot.

Didn't this dev get his panties all twisted when that crap with Westy went down? I think he lost his nerve, and ran away.

The game is almost over, all that remains is to add pregnancy and unite the wife and daughters.
You can get by with 2 updates, without delving into the plot - everything is ready, you need the final touch.

Sure, it's possible he could've passed away. But when one immediately jumps to that assumption, it speaks a lot about the individual. This is another human being we're talking about. Those with a sound mind would at the very least use levels of escalation in their train of thought, instead of showcasing a morbid mentality after a Dev goes (MIA) for 5 months. There's been other developers who's had health and mental issues and vanished for much longer than Nef has and have eventually returned without automatically being assumed "they're dead". The ghosting aspect in similar circumstances isn't exactly rare air when it comes to the Adult VN industry.

Sure there's been previous health issues, but for all anyone knows, the Dev could've just decided to cut ties with the community altogether. Could be just as much related to family issues, other opportunities, or just simply moving on with their life. Just wish for the best for the guy, throw in a wellness-check that isn't centered around "hoping he finishes this game", and find some other game to fap to. We have no idea what's going on in his life.

Uhm, I seriously doubt that. Apart from what c3p0 mentioned, there is a lot more to do than just "cleaning up". There's the hard work first of getting all the needed assets, to get a feel for the story and characters, and then the even bigger problem of Nef's style. This game in my opinion is so popular because of its unique writing (humor, sex scenes, pacing, everything) and even a talented dev would have a different style and it would just not be a continuation but a sequel set in the same universe. Think of the many times a different writer picked up a beloved movie series and it all went downhill for the fans. Even if this "continuation" would be good, it would just be a different story in all likelihood.

And especially do not underestimate the amount of detail you need which goes way beyond a rough outline of "unite the wife and daughters", you'd need a "how" which suits the story, you need to imagine the scenes, and so forth. It's a bit like saying "You can write a new Lord of the Rings, just need to imagine some lore and some epic scenes."
