Easy to do, download a version of Renpy and the pc version of the game. Unzip the game and drop the [game] folder in the Renpy folder. Now open Renpy and launch the game from there.

Like real crap. And people who compare it to DPC, Philly, or even MilfyCity (yes!! even MC!! It's that bad!) are fanboys with no sound judgment.
Gorgeous renders? Sure. The sexiest of all.
Kinks that not all will appreciate but you do? That's fine, there's no accounting for taste.
Slow sexual buildup that you don't mind? OK, that's your preference.

But the story? The actual story behind this game? Comparable to DPC or Philly? Please, don't insult our intelligence.
This game is boring AF.

You highlighted two major issues. This game tries to be something it's not, and does it in bad way.
Such game doesn't need an elaborate story. Foundation of story is already laid. MC got in trouble, now he has to get out, and while saving his ass, he needs to bed all the girls while roaming through locations. Of course, you can make sophisticated story into this, but game like this doesn't need a strong story in order to be good. Focus is at solving series of quests, this is not a novel.
Second thing, it's my impression that author and his patrons think "Stairway to Heaven" is powerful story telling mechanism... which is not. Like you pointed, it makes this game boring.

Ps, I am not trying to compare Lewdlab with anybody else, his previous game was good, and I still think this one could be redeemed, but change of approach is necessary. I only pointed out that Milfy City (go and fuck all sandbox) or COBD (visual novel with branching), are not boring to play.
On the side note, if you watch movie from online streams or torrent site, it doesn't mean you can't offer your observations.

in my opinion the updates were better when they were bimonthly, there was quantity and quality, moreover the scenes are starting to be a little repetitive, the second scene with JOYCE was perfect an ass-job, while instead it was a review of the kitchen scene Update 0.7 (between the other without animation)

Look I completely agree with you that when the game will be finished it will probably be a much better experience.
But my friend, you have missed the point.

Whether you like philly's games or not doesn't matter. What i was comparing is the amount of work and patrons that go into these games. You look at lewdlab and think, hmmmm he could probably use all that money to speed this shit up and add some more team members perhaps, or render machines. but it doesn't seem like that's what he does, at least it doesn't show it with the updates.
And then you look at philly with 1000 supporters less (which is a lot less in money), and just look at the quality he can bring with that.
The difference is way too big not to give any notice. if we don't compare there is no competition, and then there is no reason for the devs to push even further, which is what we all want really, don't we (at least me)?

Also, saying you can't compare the two is like saying you can't compare different fps games or any other genres just because they have a different story. I can still compare the renders/pacing/gameplay or anything else really in the game.

And I don't know if you know this. but when MP was about to release, Lewdlab said: "I'd say this first release is probably 40% of the work of the whole game ", yet now it only seems like it's 15-20% done after 9 updates...

This is really the thing that upsets me most, why would he say that shit in the first place and then come out with a game that barely contained anything.

I still think Lewdlab is a good dev (for the incest community) in terms of renders. The story is okay, nothing special.
But he has disappointed so many times.
even Icstor (which is considered a lost cause at this point lol) has not disappointed me like lewd has.

I don't know about you, but I like to have some adult content in adult games, especially after 9 updates.
I'm all about character progression and story, but this is taking too long. imo he has had many opportunities to add some fap material without interrupting the story and character progression too much. I mean like come on what's the big difference between a bj and hj if said character already agreed to the latter...

Side rant: Might be an unpopular opinion, but some of his supporters are like simps.

philly is good developer, but he missed with his game a lot . Setting and story is an acquired taste, i dont like it personally. He would have much more patrons if he did game in classic style, like young man in school , college or smthing like that.

The only files I could find are "log.txt" and "traceback.txt", which one is it supposed to be?

neither one nor the other. a Ren'Py save file is named page-slot-LT1.save where page is "auto"|"quick"|a number and slot is a number.
looks like you don't have save files.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage, because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

whenever there's an "unofficial" lewdpatcher.com patch it is used in my ports.
i just don't call them "patched", "compressed" or whatever...

I don't think the story is bad, but it's an adult game people are here for the most part for the sex scenes and it's taking a while to get there.
