Wtf? why would you call someone a friend if you didn't trust them? Also buddy is not a defining word depending on the context or culture. To me a buddy is not a friend.just to be sure, I checked thru some dictionaries - with the conclusion that w/o enough obsession there can be no care per se.

Also, caring and obsession are completely off the scale with each other. Obsession has gone far beyond the point of caring that it's worrying.
But having said all that, I'm not a patron...so maybe I see it differently, but even as a patron, the dev owes you nothing, yet so many on this site act like it's their godamn right to have something by a set time and day. Some fiolks need to chill and what will be will be etc.

Doubt its about the house. I bet almost everything can be figured out within 2 weeks (except if there is no furnishing etc.). I bet he is either taking some time off or polishing the existing update.
Only thing is people should be aware of content creators like Icstor, who has been collecting money without delivering a single piece of conent for 9 months already. And he is getting like 50k a month, people won't unsub him and its crazy

I don't like it, when this type of choice is in a game... I didn’t complete 'Retrieving the Past" for this reason

As far as I'm aware, this dev doesn't shy away from some drama. it will still be a harem but without spoiling it in their last game they played around with some subjects that are not super happy. But I believe it was still a harem ending. I never reached that point as after I read it I lost my interest as I believe it ended on a cliffhanger of sorts.
But I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but it appeals to a different crowd. More meaningful choices, rather then a simple happy go lucky story.

10 updates and all we got are endless amount of teasing and UI improvements then he decides to end it in 6 - 8 updates! Making that decision is just isn't fair, dev created a handful of characters for this game and now we won't get to enjoy them enough since dev will have to divide the scenes amongst them per update. Plus by rushing everything it will totally ruin the story and not justify the relationship we have with the girls. It will destroy the fucking mood/ tone overall.

I don't think he did but people are a bit over the edge after having to wait another month. So if they are told to wait another few weeks it makes them go nuts

But it really wouldn't make sense. Solely on how long it will take to render and animate all of those scenes, each update wouldn't be long enough to warrant the content unless they are going to delay each update by a while. Which will piss the people who complain a lot.

Next update is called 0.10 The update after that will be 0.11 and so on. These are just numbers to keep track of versions and have no significance. Midnight Paradise wasn't originally Landlady/roommate scenario when I was thinking about it in early 2018. A lot of patrons told me however that this is the type of content that they want. So there you go. That said, the next game I'll be making after Midnight Paradise will be different. I plan to finish the main story of Midnight Paradise in 6-8 more updates. There could be more content updates after that since this is a sandbox type game, but I can't say that for sure at this point.
Previously each update was like 1-2 scenes with 3 characters each time. So with some variation it would be like 10 min update at best
