Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!
Could they maybe also do a remake of this game too? I don't mind slow builds, but that's when the story behind it is good and each update is fairly substantial. The story in this game is...well...kinda ludicrous, to be honest. Sure, the previous game was as well what with all the magic and that creepy guy entity that shows up now and again, but at least it followed a narrative with each update. This game often has updates that barely advance the story, and the story itself feels even more ludicrous than DoD; a guy tries to win control of his Dad's company and best his brother by starting an illegal drug distribution operation, fronting it a delivery/courier service. If his Dad were a legitimate, upstanding businessman, I don't think he'd be too pleased to find out his son's bright idea to show he can be a responsible business man was to become a drug dealer, so this plan of Connor's is ridiculously stupid for what his end goal is.
Then there's all the stuff with the girls, where by doing the bare minimum and simply by virtue of being there, they all start falling for him and lusting after him. At least with DoD it felt like the MC was actually making an effort with the girls and it's because of this that they started to fall for him, whereas here it's just a combination of being bare minimum good to them and even abusing them in some cases.
Maybe the reason they need to "to take a break from creative stuff" is because they're not quite sure what they're doing here and it sometimes feels like it with these updates that are just a few additional lewd scenes with some characters that are unrelated to the larger story. If that's the case, then maybe they should think about doing something to make this more story focused and less wandering around wondering what you're supposed to be doing next.
