Thats because there are adult games (most sandbox games) and adult visual novels. Some times you get sandbox / adult visual novel mix, which never really works at all except for the odd rare occasions it does, but they are extremely rare and not to my liking, because I like reading. It doesn't help when developers even call their adult visual novels (emphasis on novel's') games when they are not. It's like taking a regular paperback novel and then calling it a game, obviously it's not and no one would suggest otherwise the same applies to adult visual novels not being games, they are adult stories with visual images, videos etc. I am not calling you out on this or anything, just trying make it clear what adult games and adult novels are. people constantly get the two mixed up, and what irks me sometimes is when people complain they have to read the adult visual novel they throught was a game isn't.

I could be wrong but I have the impression that this new faerin game will not be as successful as the previous two, even here on Brazilian sites no one has even been interested in posting it yet

Oh a new game? Took me a few years to discover Mistwood manor, but that was one game I actually thought was an interesting game besides all the porn stuff.
Sandbox as per usual is worrying, because usually it either forces the player to lose a shit ton of time, have to use a walkthrough or involves a buttload of grind, but we shall see. Someone, at some point, has to make a good sandbox game, it might just be this one.
Deffo going on the watchlist to check out in a year.

Why can't the bodyguard be the son? He own a security agencies and their family just happen to need a bodyguard... Idk.. doesn't seem too farfetched... ipatch is happening.. no doubt.

Really enjoyed Man of the House, but I had a lot more free time back then, and have since soured on most sandbox style games. Never tried Mystwood Manor, as I absolutely hate management sims. I'll keep an open mind about this one, and would like to see some future tags.

Well, the classic AVN (or VN in general) is more like the "Choose your own adventure" books where you could make decisions on whether to go through the forest or go around it and would be directed to different paths of the book to continue reading. A classic novel (or better novelette) is better represented by those which get the "kinetic" tag and which is basically reading (and seeing) a story, so a mix of book and kinda-movie.
I personally like both styles, the more game-y management and the VN (though not kinetic, if I am representing a person in these, I want to have a certain say about what they will do). Not every sandbox falls into the "game" category though, quite a few are, in my opinion, more "intertwined stories" where you can pick which path to follow first (or sometimes not follow at all). I would argue that Man of the House falls in this category, so AVN/sandbox mix. And I liked that quite a lot.
Faerin is definately my favorite developer and this game seems very nice and promising, but if there is no incest, nothing is interesting for me.
That could be because there is no content for it yet, it's a tech demo!
