Anyhow to clarify somthing to a few people here. Player feedback is literally a double edged sword, on one hand you may see were your lacking in your game, on the other had listening to twats that think you should make the game how they want it instead of doing your own thing might just fuck up your game beyond all reason. That said they key factor of all that jazz is devs that dont know wtf there doing need player feedback but to a pro who has a few games under there belt, not so much.

Fresh download and install worked, still said system assets when it booted up but then ran through the others and actually loaded game - Thanks for the reply

All I have to say is... Faerin, you clever bastard. While I do not mind whether there is incest or not, you found a loophole to make both sides happy, or at least they should be. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us on this adventure.

You're welcome. Thank you for letting me know you got the game running. Usually that would be caused by burying the game's folder under several sub-folders which eventually exceeds the length. But not having a log in front of me, it's hard to say, though that would be my first guess.

WTF do you even do? All I have accomplished is going to the apartment to get a bag, come back to the mansion and talk to Olivia. From there every character is red when highlighted and can't be talked to. The in game character walk through just says "This will show hints on how to progress..." for everyone but no actual hints for anything... Not at all worth clicking every location in the house and the city at every hour of every day until something finally happens. Shame, his games are always good quality but the game play leave a lot to be desired.

It doesn't need a cheat mod. It says in the changelog that all he has added is the first couple of interactions with the youngest daughter and the maid. You can't actually go anywhere yet. Don't get your underwear in a twist and be patient. And in the future, read the changelog in the game files.

And it will be completely useless to even use a cheat mod (just like it was in the last two games). If we (the guys on the team) find players are using one and it bugs your save (because it will), you've voided any support from us.

Well considering there are several locked scenes in the gallery, it would suggest that there is more than ONE conversation so... I mean, you just said it yourself, there are a few interactions, yet I only had one so there is obviously more than that, yet it won't let me talk to anyone. Given those facts, seems like asking wtf to do is a legit question, no? If anything it's your underwear that is in a twist. I just asked why I can't talk to anyone or why the "hints" system don't actually show hints... Don't know why that offended you so much.

Completely useless? lol, how so? I used a cheat mod for both of the previous games. Not only that but I had ZERO bugs, so tell me again how it will definitely cause bugs?!?! With out them I never would have spent more than 5 mins on either of them, so if its something that gets more people willing to play and support the game than how exactly is that "useless"?
I get that it could cause bugs and you can't help with support if that happens, but at the same time, not everyone wants to put hours into unlocking a few seconds worth of decent content. If you would rather not have people play or support the game, thats fine too. I'll take my time and money elsewhere, no worries. Customer service clearly isn't your strong suit. 10 out of 10 will not recommend this or any other game your team has done or will do in the future, don't hurt my profits.

Not trying to get into a pissing match on a porn game forum, but I was just answering your question and directing you to look in the game files before posting to an online forum. The game is still in a very very early state so the things that are showing, such as the gallery, are just placeholders until they are actually implemented. The "few" interactions I was referring to was the one with Olivia and the other being the maid. Being that there is more than one, the word "few" was used. Offended may be a strong word but yes it is mildly annoying when you see people pass judgment on a game when it is still very early in its infancy and your problems are easily solved by just looking in the files.

Yes, it does. Look in the Mystwood Manor thread and you will see a number of times people have broke their saves by using the cheat mod posted to the OP. This isn't something I've made up. It's been verified over and over again. But since you aren't part of our team, you would not be privy to that information as I would.

Now, there are people who confuse the in-game cheats as being a "mod", in which case, it is not. There are two different distinctions. One is by design, the other (a modded .dll file) is not. One was added by Faerin, the modded dll was not, nor is it supported.

Another member of the team here, and yes, when you use a cheat mod for Faerin's games, you will break your save, and we won't fix it. We are not trying to be mean, or fight with you, just trying to give you some good advice. Take it or don't, but you will get zero help or sympathy from us, especially when you act like you know more about these games than the people who make them.

And one last bit of friendly advice, if you want to know what is in the game, and not have to try to guess, you can check the change log. It will likely be more accurate than your intuition.

FYI - If you have played Faerin's other games, you know the changelog is published with the game. Check your game folder; it's there.

This conversation has devolved from post 1. I have gone back to clean up my part of the mess, just so the game gets discussed instead of this. I ask all of you to do the same.
