I have just finished the update and I have no clue how should it be completed in 4 minor parts (each update is less than 10 minutes of playtime). The main story has just been started in my opinion.

I had two hints about Olivia:
1. I'm looking forward to her next nightly visit.
2. I should try talking to her, to get her know a bit better.

All conversation topics were gray. However, after Mike didn't wait for her that night, the first hint changed to: I should check on her early in the morning.
And after the morning visit, both hints dissapeared. Is this a bug in the hint system?

It's likely. There was a fix in this update for players who still needed to talk to either Olivia or Victoria for the hint about the 3-way between she and Olivia to show up. So it might have affected some of the open dialog hints, because from what I can see, Olivia's stats are where they should be.

Just in case, I start a new game with every update.
There really isn't a need to, unless there's been major changes under the hood that would make earlier saves incompatible, but we haven't had that happen since sometime last year, I think - at least around 0.2.x - 0.5.x. Either way, I shared your second save with Faerin and let him know what I saw when I loaded your save up.

In some scenes, you can select a camera while viewing animations. Typically, the active camera is highlighted in blue, and inactive cameras are white. However, I've encountered scenes where multiple cameras were highlighted in blue. This remained the case until I manually selected a camera.

Here's one scene as an example:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
And all this within the framework of one scene.

This problem occurs in other scenes as well. I don't know if it really matters; it doesn't seem to affect the gameplay, but since I noticed it...

Yeah, that has been an issue for some time now. Sometimes you will see it, other times you won't. I don't think there is an easy "fix" for that.

Hi, I'm stuck on this part of the game. I don't know what to do. I went into the bathroom and I can't interact with anything. 1000012713.jpg

I will be honest, I have been trying to track that bug down for well over a year. We just can't reliably reproduce it in a way that he can find. This is one of two phantom bugs that have us flummoxed.

Well, at least now you know the scene for sure where you can find this bug: two moments when this bug presents and two moments when everything is all fine. Will a direct comparison of these frames help to find the differences?
And you can involve the audience in the remaining scenes. Let everyone watch a scene or two on the replay and pay attention to the cameras. I don't think there will be too many such scenes.

What is the second bug?
The other one is what I've dubbed a "laptop loop" bug. Basically you get a repeat TV event with Olivia where she sits on your lap wanting to cuddle, and afterwards leaves the laptop in your room (even though it's already in your room). Which also means the hint from Annabelle to install HI on the laptop will appear as well (even though HI is already installed).

Saves after the event won't help, and saves prior to the event don't always trigger it on reload.

Sad thing is, it seems I am the only one who has ran into it on numerous occasions over the past several months, and no one here or Discord has reported it.

If it's going to show up, it will be shortly after Olivia's swimming contest, where you will have to watch TV with her.

Sadly no, it can randomly happen in any animation with more than one camera angle. I have been randomly finding it for almost 2 years now. And the fact that it is just a visual bug (won't affect anything in the game itself), and won't save with it, makes it really hard to track, and we have to call it low priority since it is only visual.

I am kind of starting to think it might be something in Unity, and not something we can control for, but who knows? I have done the exact same thing, several times in a row, and it rarely happens twice (though, this is the first time I have seen it in months).

I need some advice on whether I should keep playing this game. I've just reached day 2 and received a black mail message, but I really hate these sloppy blackmail plots that require the MC to loose half their IQ for it to make sense, and seem to be present on half the games on this website.
This one is starting of no better than any of the other terrible blackmail plots, and I'm pretty sure I already know the blackmailer despite not having played beyond just getting that message.

Anyway, how would you guys rate the blackmail plots going forward, and how long does it take to resolve? If it doesn't take too long I'll just get through it and hopefully enjoy the rest of the game.

The quest to resolve the blackmail is key to a significant part of the content to date, IMHO the MC's attitude towards the blackmail is reasonable and your progress towards it presents interesting challenges; also you may be surprised by its resolution.

The updates so far have mainly focused on the interactions with the LIs, the overall story is starting to evolve as of the most recent update

I disagree that his reaction to it is reasonable. Regardless of how or why, 'accident' or not, showing his dick to Olivia is far more likely to get him fired than simply admitting to his boss himself that he had sex with Rebecca, who's a maid and not 'one of the girl's'. The demand is worse than the thing he's being blackmailed with, and it's always better to get ahead of these things and set the narratieve, rather than let yourself be manipulated into doing things that will only worsen the blackmail.
Not to mention that he's a fucking bodyguard! Being blackmailed and not stepping to your boss about it is bad, doing it as a bodyguard for people whose lives might be in danger is so much worse.
No, no. It's absolutely ridiculous that he's going along with this for so many reasons, and it's fine if you and others don't mind that, but it bothers me to no end.
Either way though, you don't make it sound like it will be over any time quick, so I'll leave this game be for now.

The blackmail is how it starts, there are a handful of events, before that part ends. While it is a bit part of the plot, it is only the first part.
