I suspect they will do their comic in peace, treat this as an afterthought, and eventually either abandon it or transform it into another comic.
Which is a bummer, because I couldn't care less about some comics and enjoyed the game so far.

This is what I had mentioned here before to everyone's dismay.
You have to understand Serge is not a dev. Whatever they make is completely up to their whim. And if it takes away from their time and workflow they are going to be less inclined to continue. This leads to two scenarios where they either hire someone to do dev work (coding etc.) [which means they have to take time to communicate and pay them] or they do it themselves [if the project isn't earning much money to justify costs of hiring].
I think Serge tried this with the best of intentions but it seems the dev work is taking up too much of their time/ isn't getting any more interest.

Maybe I am the one that is reading too much into this and Serge is just on a holiday.

I would actually prefer seeing them making what they really wanna do, even if it is completely out of my interest.
Just wanted to voice my disappointment, that this game doesn't get the development it deserves.

very optimistic of you to believe that he hires people to continue with the game, the 2 real options are 1 turn it into a comic or 2 abandon it as happened with the animations and the second option seems the most likely to happen

To be fair, there was a poll some time ago to turn this game into a comic. So I would not really say that it is clear that the game will be continued.

Honestly, I'd just hope it doesn't get dropped like a lot of other projects, "Oh I can't figure out what to do, guess I'll just scrap it, soz guys, woops."
I understand feeling aimless with projects but it'd be a shame to ditch this character and the shenanigans she gets up to.
maybe... never? at the rate we're going I'd be surprised if he released a chapter 5

if it doesnt have decent animations then comic but if the animations are and will be good then keep the game id say

This game is already dead...the creator is onto multiple projects! It's an absolute shame, because it started promisingly...as so many do!
