Only seen that when you mix and match extra save with non extra game.. in my experience. Though haven't seen that happen in the last few games.

I did restart awhile back so might have been just a corrupt save/too old.

Have you downloaded the new Extra version ? And not trying to activate the standard to become Extra...
And use only this one
