Welcome to the thread!
When you dl this update, 0.24, you get updates 0.15-0.24. Since you have no saves to allow you to "load" from a later point, you are placed at the starting point which is 0.15. By making saves, you are free to choose your starting point(s) thereafter.
Btw, you are far better off dl'ing 0.14 (Part 1) from the OP so you will then also have updates 0.01-0.14. Part 2 is just a continuation from Part 1. But remember NOT to join those two Parts in a common file. Also, Part 1 saves are not compatible with Part 2 saves and vice-versa.
Take a tour around the OP (look beneath all Spoilers) to get to better know your way around this game.

If you count the foreplay + partial coitus as a scene itself, then it's two. Otherwise it's just one lengthy scene.
