assuming the fact the lastest update came almost on the second week of the month, if the updates are linear, every update is released on demand, it should come by the end of the first week, or somewhere in the second week of september

right click on game and go to properties then click on compatibility and "Run compatibiltiy trobleshooter " and then click on test and if the game run click on save ,maybe it will help you
