The game is still be worked on it's just progress has been really slow that's all. Why would the game still have over 4k patrons if the game was simply left abandoned for more than two years?
It still has 4,000+ patrons because scamming fools out of a few bucks every month is easy. ICSTOR has a history of "completing" games, I use quotations because he's only actually finished two games without getting bored first and rushing them to completion leaving vast swaths of missing content in his wake, and great character designs. Just look at Milfy City. Hot mom, loli sister, Lara Croft lookalike older sister, various other milfs... all with good designs outside of the loli sister because I don't get that particular fetish. So someone is all "I'll donate $5 a month, that's not much." and the patreon receipt goes to their spam folder, or they just don't check the email address they used because it's their secret porn one, and so on and so forth. Five years later they've either accepted the fact that the updates won't be coming any time soon but are OK with it because they don't care about a few dollars out of their bank account a month or they've completely forgotten about the fact that they're still paying ICSTOR. Patreon is a flawed concept that enables scammers like ISCTOR.

The character designs have become outdated over the years.
There are already many games in which the characters look more attractive and natural.
That's kind of true. I would argue that Milfy City's character are still pretty damn good, especially for their age. But it's true that since the game has received basically no significant updates in more than two years, there is another, growing problem:

When you abandon a project for so long, even if you want to come back to it, it becomes more and more difficult to pick up where you left off, since softwares, tools, methods and so on upgrade and change over time. That means your renders will look substantially different, maybe some characters or specific tools aren't supported anymore, etc...

But the art style especially will begin slowly to look outdated, because you still have to use the same render parameters and techniques from 3-4 years ago when this game was initially created, unless you just use new parameters but then the new updates will look substantially different from the old ones, which may break the experience.

That's why you need to keep realistic development and lifespan time. Creating a lewd game over a period of 4-5+ years is bound to create a LOT of problems.

But that also wouldn't have been too much of an issue if ICSTOR wasn't a massive scammer that knowingly and purposely extended news update in order to milk the absolute shit out of clueless first-time pledgers.

That is why I have said their rules need to be revamped. Right now the rules are set to cover ever type of artist on Patreon. A post once a month or what ever it is is fine for say Musicians, Reactors, ect . But what does a post prove in the Dev gaming world. NOT A DAMN THING. Only thing that really matters is the UPDATES. Devs shouldn't be getting paid 3, 6 , 12 months for a game they haven't updated.

sorry to ask,if f95zone put abondoned tags, what's that mean? i mean i knew what abandon is, but is that make the upload/progress faster? or to show off about the game doesn't continue anymore? or maybe show off about the dev is scammer?

i mean what's the point for putting abandoned tag? sorry, i just wonder...
F95zone helps developers garner support, and many members tracks dozens of games; only checking in occasionally.

The abandoned tag on the title draws a lot of attention. A signal to supporters that they're wasting their pledge.

In the case of ICSTOR, it actually got him to upload a 5min update after 2yrs off.

If ICSTOR put out an update, then why is the game still labeled as abandoned?

That last update was in July, the first time he was slapped with the TAG.
The one you quoted didn't mean a game Update he means Ashbashs Discord Post about Milfy City being delayed and Icstors "on hold" statement.
They were at the time range before the abandoned Tag got put in here.

(And no I don't defend anyone, here. Not Icstor or his fans here)

Isn't this guy Russian? If so, he won't be able to get paid anymore.
I thought he was from the U.K. You can usually tell a dev's point of origin by how their characters talk in the game or the terms that are used, or in some cases, by some terrible spelling or punctuation.

But I think ICSTOR is from the U.K.

ICSTOR is American, his writer: is from the UK and yes you can tell because he uses British-English as well as a lot of localized terms and colloquialisms (If I were to guess, somewhere South of England).

That first pic does heavily imply Sara is 13 or 14. At the very least it states the MC is 4 years older then Sara, so he has to be in his 20s for it to not look sus.
Not necessarily. While I am firmly on the "She's quite obviously a child, that's gross." side of the equation having numbers on the class she and the MC are in does not necessarily mean she's in the eighth grade. The game is vaguely set in the US and it's not a universal practice to attach a number and letter to the grade of a class. Especially when it indicates a minimum of five distinct eighth grade classes and six 12th grade classes. Sarah is a kid because you can tell by looking at her that she's designed to be one and if it wasn't for the patreon rules she probably would be listed as being 13-14 in the game. That's part of why ICSTOR's character designs work as well as they do. You can claim they're outdated all you like, but he's very good at hitting the sweet spot for particular fetishes.
