There was indeed a terrible flooding last summer in the south of Belgium and west of Germany. Many families are still rebuilding their homes or living without proper heating and electricity.
Maybe watch the news a bit more before saying something like this.

Yeah that's one of the reasons I believe that was cited, don't know if was an actual reason given for the delays. but even here the U.S. I heard about that, saw some footage, etc. Pretty terrible stuff.

I think he also was a victim in this recent volcano explosion in Italy, war in Ukraine had also it's effect on him. I'm not even mentioning pandemic - this was also problematic for Icstor. There was also very severe conflict in South Sudan which also had effect on him. Syria that was also very dramatic humanitarian crysis, Icstor also happened to be affected. East Timor seeks immediate relief which cascades in turn on Milfy City. Have you heard about protest in Belerus? Icstor was one of the arrested. His dog also died recently. Such is life of poor Icstor.

And lets not forget the worldwide crackdown on the Russian Oligarchs... his Patreon account is down to 4400 patrons now... OMG, there goes his upgrade to a super-yacht!
So has he said he's abandoned the game or did they just mark it as such because it's been like a year since his last update?

The flood must of been really bad if Icstor had to delay Milfy City for over a year. Hopefully he can recover from the bad flood and get back to work on Milfy City soon.

You forgot to mention that the sanctions against Russia also delayed the update because ICSTOR lives in europe and the gas price was to high, therefore he couldn't return from China because Beijing olympics were also affected because of the war and the world cup this year also affected him because he couldn't focus on his development due to extreme stress. Additionally, Milfy City has been put on hold because of the effects of Facebook changing it's name to Meta, which made wall street lose money and therefore cause further strain on ICSTOR's health condition, also some countries are having presidential election this year and his candidate was helping in Kyiv so that also impacted the development of the game.

I did my Caroline run a week or so ago, maybe less than that, and seeing the ending choice for her being pregnant got me a little upset. Something we'll never see, and it sucks. I would've loved to have seen how they dealt with the baby. Maybe they would've moved into Charles' "house" since he got whacked my the Headmaster's "associates."
Oh well.
