Pregnancy is a symptom of closeness in a sense. Every sexual experience I've had has involved a condom, and the rubber makes the experience not as fun. The significance of pregnancy is the same significance of not wearing a condom and not pulling out. Trust, closeness, and a willingness to take on the risk/responsibility of pregnancy with you.
