This thread is hilarious to any outsider or person who isn't religious about this game.
So many "I'm not mad" and "I will wait patiently" at the end of so many passive aggressive posts. The hilarious part is clicking the post histories and seeing the angry posts which just make them seem even more bipolar.

My favorites are the "I don't care" and "there are tons of other games." Meanwhile they've posted like 80 times in the last month.

Yeah but it's still new content and if he indeed gives the game to those that pledged the months he said the game was gonna be ready how is it charity for him. As i said if he fails to do that then by all means hate as much as you want i will too. But just because someone delays the update doesn't mean he is out for grabs. He already had his patreons growing expodentially the last year there is no reason for him to piss all of them off.

I'm having issues where the sex scenes don't unlock after completing them. I've played the game before and it's worked. Any idea whats wrong? I just did a fresh install for a 2nd time.

But what the guy said is pretty much spot on. Patreon is donations, sure people can dispute charges but people are entitled nothing for their money. Even if you make releases monthly, everyone expects new lewd content every release. I have no idea the time the 3d scenes takes but I person was expecting this release sooner. Hopefully it's a great release and the wait is worth it.

With regards for time to develop. Code is quick unless you are adding crazy new mechanics, etc. Dialogue of lewd game quality is not a time sink either, you can pump it out really quick. The main time is always art. Just my two cents.

By FAR 3d scenes take forever especially animated. There are pros who pump out just animated porn [video game characters] pulling 6 figures and only get out one like 4ish animation loops a month.

I think you way underestimate how much time it takes to code a game and make sure its working though. Even after everything is in place and things break no matter what. Something Unlimited works his ass of drawing and doing everything by himself and will post the game update which is by the numbers - new girl - new scenes. Then you will hear people screaming that everything is borked and not only that but stuff that did work is now borked.

Yes, us gamedevs tend to underestimate how much time it takes to code a game, but we do know how long it takes when reality hits us.

(Also, milfy city uses Renpy, it's really easy to use, there's no complex mechanics in the game that require a lot of time honestly, it's just the art)

doesn't change the fact that he rarely communicated or the fact that it was at 90% for about 2 months. he is clearly lying to his patreons and using them, making them think that the update is close but for the past 3-4 months hasn't delivered

His job is not to communicate is to make the game and he does that. As for being stuck at 90% for two months he said why and i said he gives those patreons the update. If he was milking them he wouldn't give it. Getting more time to put more content but also giving it to those who expected the update to come in august or september is not milking them.

Ok, memory refreshing

Milf's Villa was abruptly ended to move to this game, and he posted that it will never happen again, so options:

1) This will be the biggest update a game on this board has ever seen and the game will rise again.

2) This will be a closing of the game and will confirm what many are already guessing.

There is a third option where they reboot the game and explain why the game was "suspended" for a year. (UNLIKELY)

I was a patreon of them but ended it after 29 months, the anti fooling system kicked in.

We're less than two days for the update, and we didn't had any news over delay so far. Considering that in August, ICSTOR said that the game would be delayed basically around the same time, that makes me worried. Hope that I'm just overthinking the situation.

But the "way before" that he said on the last news isn't effective anymore, right?
