Games like Milfy City, FILF, Man of the House, etc... these are all your average incest games. These games don't stand out in any way other than just being a incest game with interchangeable plot and characters. Nothing wrong with that though since there is obviously quite a lot of people that enjoy this type of game. To me, its kinda like your average comic book movie.

I don't want to sound or be hostile to you, I find this to be the occasion to remember where all the fanfare came from, Icstor came from the coattail of his work, finished work when there were very few creators, he released something that:
1) Was not on RPGM which was the majority of works until then and for a long time, with many works still being there
2) No idiotic puzzles that padded the game by sending you to do all sort of mad errands
3) Lots of all around content for a first release, especially content for most characters
4) Unrivaled graphic quality, this one is still true that this is among one of the best looking ones and to add, it also had mini, but still animations, not to forget at how many games still had the japanese style of having cardbord cutouts over a static background.
Luckyly things have all around changed/improved for the market, so the novelty has faded a bit, but hey, we like those characters, the fact that is the mother desiring the son and not the son being the source of corruption, the MC not being an asshole (in most cases at least) and the game looking great, I just hope ICSTOR realizes how long can he pull the rope.

Incest story 1 and 2 were both RPGM. I couldn’t even finish those games they were so bad. Milf city is no different. Only thing holding it together is Caroline and Sara. Linda is a cock fiend that was written so horribly. possibly the worst written character in porn history .

It does depend your taste for sure. It's basically down for personal preference. Like me personally, I was meh on I Love Daddy. I was more into Ethan Legacy or Dreaming of Dana. Dating my Daughter is still going strong, and I feel like that's great. Takes its time in building itself up. Still got to play Being a DIK. Depraved Awakening is great. But I feel like the reason why Milfy City is really popular is because of the renders and the animations. They are really good. The sex scenes that we have in here are hot. And that's pretty much where it comes down to imo. The plot/characters are the build up to the main course. It's like putting some seasoning to your meal. It isn't really required to enjoy it depending on the dish, but it's the spice it up a bit.

If the plot/characters are okay, then it's a'ight. As long the models and sex scenes are hot. If the plot/characters are great then the sex is mediocre, then you still get by depending on how invested you are into the narrative. If the dev pretty much advertise that it's going to be plot focus game, then expect that. Maybe the renders, sex animation, and the scenes may not be as hot. If the game advertise, "Check out our hot ppl and animation. Wtf is plot? fap fap fap" then that's good too.

Bottom line, I don't expect these games to have a great plot, but a solid one to make sense. And even then, I might forgive depending on the sex scenes and models, because that's the point. Like I remember this game called Saga. Initially the story was interesting, but it went all over the place. Jumping from one moment to another, without a smooth transistion in a story standpoint. It got cut short and rushed. However the models were hot. If it had animation, it would be even hotter.

So, I'm not looking for The Last of Us, KoTOR 1 and 2, Metal Gear, Bioshock, Planescape Torment, Xenogears and etc. That's more of a bonus for me. Other ppl, especially with VN, want them to have a good plot. It's in the allure. For me, I expect them to have an intriguing premise. The story is foreplay. Sometimes the better foreplay, the better the sex. Sometimes it's great to skip it and get down and dirty with it. Sometimes the foreplay sucks, so you hope the sex is better. Sometimes the foreplay is better than the sex.

In terms of plot with Milfy City, the only one that is unique is Linda due to the situation imo. The mom is the aggressor and dad isn't an asshole, is around, and seem like a good guy. You hardly, if ever, see that in these incest games. I suppose the other one is a bit unique is the fact the older sister isn't a bitch to the MC. The rest of the plot is solid, but you tend to see it in other games.

I do agree, if you want a....more engaging plot, you would have to look else where. Look for your cup of tea. Milfy City plot is solid, do a little things differently, but what sets it apart from the rest is the renders and animation.
