The game takes the Saves from the C: drive... you have to delet the saves in
C:\Users\*User name*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy in order to not make them available in the game after a fresh extract

I'm trying to pick up where i left off in 0.5c, won't this prevent me from doing so?

After agreeing to meet at the place of their first kiss, go home and sleep in the MC's bed. After that, you'll get told you've reached the end of Caroline's story for the current version. Close that message, and it will still be night. Click the bed again. Now you'll have a green option to go meet Caroline.

Yeah I think Icstor is making fun of the usual trope where the MC gets to sleep with whoever he wants while the girls are supposed to be willfully ignorant about it, he has quite a few of those in the game.
