It has been there.
Go to Bob's office in morning and click on red statue on desk, click on keys. Go outside to car, select keys in inventory and click on car then door and then red book.
Go back in and replace the keys.
In the afternoon go to office, click on bookcase on the right, then select red book and then click on the gap between 2 books on the next to bottom shelf. Then go inside.

It's a little bit of basic exploration. We know there are secret/hidden items in this game, so why wouldn't you spend a few extra moments mousing over an environment to see if there is anything interactable, and then clicking on those things when you find them?
