From my understanding, he has been doing the same story over and over again for years. I saw one of his rpg games presented in comic form. I think it was the original Incest Story. It was very close in my opinion.

(If he decides to release the animation along with 0.7, then we'll have to wait until August.) Anyway on the first or second of December he will write about his progress.
I think that 0.7 will also come out in parts. First a quarter of the game, then half, then the full game but without animation.

And all to say "I promised that the update will be released in December." (And it doesn't matter that the update has only two images.)

Excessively harsh that would be. Icstor had this one superprolonged delay which caused the upheaval but before then the updates were regular and things were pretty much dandy.
What you described is inherent to the crowdfunding model. This site's goal is not to make moral judgement over game creators but to share the games. Hence they are hosted even when they are 100% abandoned.
And ICSTOR hasn't abandoned this project.. at all. Well, not now anyway
And the people of F95ZONE are not the ones being "ripped off" if we can call it that. His patrons are the ones who apparently have no problem with this. And if they have no problem with it then it will stay as it is. As long as the money keeps flowing he doesn't have to change a damn thing, regadless of our thoughts.
