Yeah, I personally started the delay count back at zero after the final release of 0.6. Although I do count the delay from December to January even though 0.7 was promised for December before 0.6e was released. Go figure..

Oh while you mentioned someone, here is a little gem that I think went mostly unnoticed:

That is how I see it too. I count .6 as one entire string of lies. This included many many lies. Such as "oops I forgot to pause payments" (nice) "It will be released in June" June 20th or something "Ooops it will be released in August. Of course, this means I am 'working'(cough cough) so no pause in payments. We will just ignore all of those months I collected when I was "ill" (cough cough) I am really working hard! I am up to 10 minutes a day!! (including computer boot-up time of course)"
Don't bother. The patch barely changes anything:

For example, in the hotel scene it changes one line of dialogue:

with patch:
Caroline: "I can’t even begin to imagine what kind of detective work you had to do to track Gran’s necklace down."
without patch:
Caroline: "I can’t even begin to imagine what kind of detective work you had to do to track my gran’s necklace down."

that is everything that is changed in the entire dinner/hotel scene. The other scenes are not much different.
It doesn't change Slutbag Linda to mommy? Or Carolushine\Gremlin(I actually like the Gremlin, but the moniker is good. So Gremlin it is.) to sissy?

I'm afraid it does not. But I should have mentioned that the variable Linda_name is used several times, ready to be changed by you. I meant to say there are maybe 3 lines that are written exclusively for playing with or without the patch and any weird lines like "Oh we shouldn't do this, you are my roommate" have thankfully been avoided, or I forgot about them.

And the Cycle Continues.......Its not the dev its the System itself that is flawed the dev's are just exploiting it and that's bound to happen as it always result's in zero consequences.

LOL. It is not the developer? So you mean to say that if stealing was legal. And a person went around stealing other's property. Then the person stealing is not really at fault, it is the fault of the system? Have you ever heard of a little concept called "morals"? Just because it is OK to do a thing. It does not make it "right" to do a thing. Just saying.

You opened a massive can of worms by comparing being a game dev to stealing, laws and morals.

Yes, sometimes it can be the system's fault if a person is stealaing, even when it's illegal, like right now. Maybe in your idealistic world, everybody is born equal and the system treats everybody equally.

It's pretty ignorant to just say "oh he is stealing because he doesn't have good morals".

However sadly makeing someone accountent based on morals doesn't work in regards of the law... you may socialy shy someone... but guys following this path normally are all to aware and ready to follow it through.
The fault for such people going unpunished is the system in the end indeed

Contradicting using words like stealing doesnt seem to fit my previous post and your bending it a little putting some of those irrelevant cherry tops that really doesnt go with what i meant to say...Stealing is taking something from someone that doesnt belong to you at the first place to begin with while donating is something someone does with his/her own will and conscious which the patrons are doing..no one is forcing them to pay while ICstor goes merry goes round with his delays and the system --->" PATREON " does not provide any penalty or structure to hold against the creator creating the contents..and talking about morals in a porn forum? Have you seen the tags in a game lately i suggest you take a look much closer then ask me that question again! Just saying.

Stealing was just a simple metaphor. It does not have to be an illegal act. Say cheating on your wife or girlfriend. That is not illegal. I knew guys who would cheat at tennis FFS. The point is that a person is responsible for their own actions.

When I was really young I used to shoplift. I was not rich but the things I stole I could afford. I stole them for the challenge, the thrill if you like. Then I grew up a bit and realized how wrong what I was doing was. I did not stop because I got caught or was afraid of getting caught. I stopped because I became mature enough to know right from wrong.

Just because the Patreon system allows developers to milk the system. Still does not make it the fault of the system. Any more than cheating on your woman is OK because it is legal. If you cheat is it your wife or girlfriend's fault for trusting you? By the same token. Is it the fault of the Patron for trusting the creator to do the right thing either?

The fault lies squarely on the developer. Not the system. If the idea being put forth. Is that it is nieve to have a moral compass. Call me nieve, then. But I sleep very well at night without guilt. A happy sucker.

I just read the lost post. I hate to say it but it seems that personal accountability has gone out the window in the 21st century. Things are always someone else's fault. Democrats, Republicans, evil corporations, or pick your poison. And I am not talking about anything religious here. Go ahead and blame Patreon if you so choose. I will blame creators who game the system, myself.

I am just expressing a personal world view. People are free to think is they choose. No skin off of my nose as it would be. It's just how I see it and nothing more.

BTW, that last post has to be done via a translator. No one was "accusing" you of anything. Your opinion is not subject to "accusation", just "observation" or "debate".

Still just saying it's not Patreons fault that people search for ways to abuse it... it's their lack of actions against such movements.
The most famous case for this is probably "Breading Season" and that happened when Patreon was still young.
Currently the best you can do is "report" a creator but than again the game would be canceled and the site taken down, since in ICStors case he is violating their rules in regards of content.
Also each creator is the Admin to his Subforum/Page allowing them to delete comments they don't fancy.
You can't even "rate" a creator only the game... Milfy City can draw in a high rateing from the previous builds but him personally would have an incredible low rateing as his lacks of communication and constant questionable delays would probably be known by now.
Creators of Porn probably won't be able to grow up anymore, your morale compass had to align itself through puperty I assume, but I doubt you'll find any successful creators still caught up with that (or atleast I hope so). :sneaky:

I'm almost Convinced Incstors Real name is Derick Smart!.
I mean at this stage it would make sense as both the track records line up!.
(If you don't Know who Derick Smart Google him.) "he's the game creator famous for a lot of bad practices"
