That happens because he initially started with a clean outlook of the gaming scene, the models are fine, renders are great, the story was interesting up 0.6 and he was promising a lot. The game still has advantages in graphics over most games (I know, I've seen the suggestions and apart from unrealistic models, the selection is poor) and people who play the story up to 0.6 dev line will like it and pay for it. WE? We've been at it for a while so we dropped out... those who come will eventually drop out sooner or later, but this won't stop him making use of that revolving door effect to milk newcomers.

It is mostly because he is one of the oldest devs around, with some games under his belt and his renders are not bad, we could argue about the story but i know most people don't really want a fancy story in porn games because their brain can't follow it, especially not if their dick is in their hands.

What i find highly entertaining is that the big money makers like this one here can afford to do 1-2 updates a YEAR and still gain more patrons while small devs, even if their quality is on the same level or better, lose all their support if they take too long for updates in the eyes of patrons, while they are 100% working harder and most likely in real life too while devs like ICSTOR count their money and laugh about the fools who throw money at them.

Well said! The devs of the games in my sig deserve much more love than ICSTOR. Not to say this game is bad it's just the deliverables aren't proportional to his patreon income. Cue the fanboys..

I could smack in a list of devs where i know that they work their asses off and do quality work, but that won't be of any use because patrons decide on...ah who knows, quality is 100% not the thing what makes them decide to support a dev otherwhise there would be devs who'd earn way more than they do now and others would earn way less, but it is what it is.

Yeah for sure. Apologies on being inactive. I've been trying to buckle down and learn high quality animations in a short amount of time. The original plan was to leave ICSTOR to the animations but he has his own priorites so I decided to give them a shot. With that being said my rig isn't the best so it has been taking me a while. I don't know the status of the rest of the team and what is/isn't done for them so I can't say in that regard. I won't say it will be released insert month here because I actually don't know. I believe ICSTOR is putting up a patreon post in the next few days though.

So, he doesn't even share information with his team. F

He has other priorities... Making a guy with a worse rig than his take care of the animations...
What does he want all those colossal graphic cards for then? Didn't he state Baron would take care of the renders while he would work on the animations? I bet his priorities mean spending 6 months designing the characters for his new, best ever game while Baron does all the artistic work for MC.
Poor Baron must be freaking out with what he's encountered so far. His impression shines through in his message already, even though he has been very polite and subtle.

You can render remotely, he doesn't have to sit on ICSTOR's lap. And I do hope ICSTOR is at least part-time working on his new game. It would be stupid if he wasn't.
