What i find highly entertaining is that the big money makers like this one here can afford to do 1-2 updates a YEAR and still gain more patrons while small devs, even if their quality is on the same level or better, lose all their support if they take too long for updates in the eyes of patrons, while they are 100% working harder and most likely in real life too while devs like ICSTOR count their money and laugh about the fools who throw money at them.
Patreon followers can be a cult. Summertime saga is the same way

At least DC updates his followers regularly on Summertime Saga's progress through frequent Patreon updates and regular streams. Also, 2D games require much more work than 3D games, and yet DC still manages to churn out more updates in a year than ICSTOR's half-assed, animation-less updates.

That happens because he initially started with a clean outlook of the gaming scene, the models are fine, renders are great, the story was interesting up 0.6 and he was promising a lot. The game still has advantages in graphics over most games (I know, I've seen the suggestions and apart from unrealistic models, the selection is poor) and people who play the story up to 0.6 dev line will like it and pay for it. WE? We've been at it for a while so we dropped out... those who come will eventually drop out sooner or later, but this won't stop him making use of that revolving door effect to milk newcomers.

for play that gameoldmasterxd you are going to be waiting for a while on the finished game in regards to ToN. if you've done everything available in game your current completion % is only 38 at this point. figure you get maybe 2% per update so you while have another 30 updates to go after the July 1st upcoming update. update every 2 weeks so you are looking at September 2021 for complete game. But on the brightside it will probably land before Milfy City gets updated at this point.
