What I think
Most of us started playing these games as an alternate to watching porno, but after playing these games for some time, the need to fap becomes secondary and people start caring more about the story, characters and choices than the lewd scenes.

I only started playing these games because my girl and I have been separated due to COVID. She doesn't want to take a chance of us getting together without masks. We haven't even kissed in a year since this whole thing has started.

That's why I started playing them.

I play these games for the stories. For the connections to the girls. If I wanted real porn, there's a fuckton of sites for that. To me, that's just the part of "life" in this game; The story with Caroline especially. In CoBD, the story with Katie, Jill in DIK and so on. The sex just becomes more prominent as the relationship grows. Isn't that what life is?

And if INCSTOR has health issues, there IS a COVID problem in this country. Things could be hampering him.

Yeah we're basically married (although not "in the eyes of the law") but living in different houses. She's taking care of her elderly family, I'm taking care of my mother. One day I found Milfy City from SteamUnlocked and the rest is history. I wasn't looking for it, but I was curious, and when I saw Caroline, I knew I had to try it.

Little did I know that a few months later I'd be playing almost a dozen VNs getting all emotional and weepy like a 5-year-old schoolboy who just lost his favorite puppy every day of the week.

Yeah, like I already said in my first answer to that guy, 9k before taxes in a month is pretty damn good payday considering the amount of work being done (which is zero). Even though I don't like Icstor one bit at this moment, it's still way off to say that he makes 50k per month when there are actually guys who make that and even more with these games. Icstor is a small dev when compared to DarkCookie, Adeptus Steve, NLT, DrPinkCake and many others.

You know he had "health issues" since 2 years... but never saw a specialist or took time to recover while going under the radar.
His bigest illness is him being lazy, addicted to money and loosing focus on working or live in general.

His claims all fall apart if he is demanded to go into details about his "ailments"
