Could you imagine how much sooner this update would have come out if the Abandoned tag was added a year ago.....
My guess is the dev has content ready to drop and isn't doing any work at all. The game plan was the draw out the time he could keep the funds coming in. Turn out that was two years lol. Now the dev will drop the content that's already been finished for a while over time.
Hopefully next time this goes 6 months with out an update it gets the Abandoned tag sooner.

After a throughout reading of this thread 150 posts or so, that's because people still, afaik:
Defend:
- His business' ethics (!)
- His "right to be late" (!?)
- His artistic merit (?)
- The need to pay, to be able to complain
- Supporting someone who takes more breaks than HxH

If game gets abandoned tag it should be remove it after game is updated 3-5 time because now they can just collect money and wait next 2 years so that it gets tag again
Wow, dev got incredible timing I must say, (((working))) on the game for more than 9 months and about a week after this gets tagged [ABANDONED] he hits us with the update, such a great timing, totally not a coincidence, right?

Can you imagine how the comments would look if the only people allowed to talk were the ones who were stupid enough to keep giving this guy money for 2 years while he kept getting caught lying about progress over and over? It'd devolve into a stream of "good gam. Wen update?" and "ICSTOR said he sad, send more money he be happy make game?"
