The real reason is that you can delete a lot of things in Ren'Py easily, and call it an edit. ICSTOR has been and is a scammer. He even snow flakes on it in his comments, "I am mentally not well, I know you all think I am lying but I am not. Thank you for your continued idiocy in sending me money for doing nothing. I have a great team, but I work solo. I have great ideas and enthusiasm, but I lack the energy and will to live, and to finish a game I started 5 fucking years ago and have made well over a million US dollars off you silly bastards that continue to want to fuck your underage little sister!!!"

I hope you're not eagerly awaiting it. It took TWO YEARS for us to get a 15 minute Sara update back in July, and that was AFTER they threw the ABANDONED tag on this game in the forums. If you're "waiting by the phone," you're going to be waiting a very long time. Those of us who have waited for this game know that you shouldn't expect anything at all.
This game could've been done a long time ago but this is what it has come to. Don't expect anything

I'm well aware of this devs issues I was just wondering why he gave such a non-answer.
Acccordingly to his reply on Patreon, the best result is releasing the promised Judys update this year. The completion of the full game is not expected yet respecting any approximate date.

Well, as many would most likely say here, I'll believe it when I see it. I know, back in June/July, he had a huge post on many ideas or things he wanted to do, with some new pictures; Judy route, Violet route, etc.
So we'll see what happens. But he should've played his cards much differently than he did. This game could've been over and done with. His Patreon might not have been shut down, game might not have been censored, and he could've avoided being bad mouthed as often as he is, especially here.
I don't believe a damn thing with this game until I see it, and I wasn't always like this. I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt for a long time, avoiding the smack talk. But now that the scales have fallen from my eyes, I sure as shit see things differently.
We'll see what happens.
I don't understand why everyone is being so active on this thread, it's been said a thousand times before but hell I'll say it again, making the thread active is just playing Icstor's game, let the thread die and his game forgotten, that might motivate him to do something besides milking his patreons

Can't stop people from talking. I'm just as surprised as anyone but if people want to talk about it, just let 'em. This thread, the only way it's going to truly push up daisies is if they lock it, and I don't see that happening as there are threads with games that are Abandoned and still open.
With the popularity this game had at one point, and new people always joining every day, I very much highly doubt this thread will ever be graveyard quiet.
